Yesterday was my daughters 3rd birthday. We already had her gifts, which were not cheap, but she was really excitedly hoping for a dollhouse. Most dollhouses were 40-200 dollars, except this one. Quality feels cheap, but that doesn't bother my daughter and and it works as advertised (opening doors etc.) Cannot speak for the durability yet. It is her favorite gift in the world and she played with it as late as I would lwt her last night and immediately went back to it today- all day. Would buy it again.
Let's start with what I do like. I like that it comes with some furniture, a car, dollhouse, dog, and a family for such a low price. BUT as expected, it was very cheaply made. We got this for my toddler Christmas 2016 and it was in the donate pile only a month later. None of the family dolls were able to sit on chairs or use any of the furniture. They fit poorly in the car and the garage door kept coming off. What made the final decision to donate it though was that when our children were trying to play with it the house and pieces are so cheap and light that they kept falling over and it made it so frustrating for them they both stopped playing with it maybe 5-10 mins later. It is great for a child when you don't have the money to buy anything else so I'm glad it's an option but if possible pass this one up.
