Quality even worse than expected.

I bought these not expecting Lego quality, but the set looked cute, the price was cheap, and I thought we could use it along with our Legos for more variety. Plus, it came with four mini figures and my daughter needed more people to play with. Unfortunately, the set was so bad we couldn't even put it together once. The base plates were warped coming out of the box and we were not able to get them to stay together with the attached pieces as instructed. Other pieces fit together so poorly that they fell apart on their own, making for a lot of frustration for my daughter. This brand has very shallow pegs which do not stay together when manipulated and the holes for them also seem poorly sized. Even the palm tree fell apart. The hair does not stay not the people. On the positive side, we like having the pink framed doors and windows and purple roof pieces. We also bought the vet hospital and it was slightly better. It didn't stay together well and I recommend super glue if you want to keep it together, but we do use the pieces a lot with our Legos.
