I bought this for my niece when she was 2 and she loved it. It is one of those things that kids will love to play with and if it breaks no big deal it was 20 bucks. WELL worth the 20 bucks!! This year I bought it for my 1 year old and I know she is going to love it.
My husband and I got this for our 20 month old son for Christmas. The start age says 3 but I honestly think that this would be too small for a 3 year old. The sound of the drums truly are great, it is just loud enough which is perfect. Our son had a blast beating on the drums and even the bass drum petal. The way things are today with pricing I feel this is a total steal. WE LOVE THIS!!! He had knocked them over pulled on the drums, you name it and the kit is still together nice and strong. Really, this is a great product.
Its made of plastic so don't expect to start the neighborhood band with it, but its great because it get the job done. Its not really loud which is why I gave it an excellent. But its not made for heavy/hard use. Its a toy and for $20 its perfect. I bought it for a 3yr old boy and he played with it for hours. And it was still intact when I went back hours later to check it out. Did I mention he was 3 yrs old. Enough said ;)
This drum set is very cheap, but definitely fulfills the needs of my daughter. She is 3 and we wanted to buy her a drumset that was inexpensive to see if she would even play with it before purchasing a more expensive set. So far this drumset has worked great. She enjoys playing it and it is sturdy enough for her to play and have a good time. I am sure at some point we will probably purchase her a better set but for right now this one is working just fine. Happy with my purchase!!
I got this as a gift for my brother's 2nd birthday. It was easy to assemble and once it was put together he really enjoyed playing the drums. I would recommend it for young children and I am glad that i bought this for him.
I bought this as a surprise gift for my 4 Yr kid , and he is so amazed to see a Drum set unpacked from that small box. Nicely designed, though the sound produced can't be much appreciated. Again, got to compromise with the sound quality for the price being paid. Overall, this is a nice drums starter kit for 3+ yrs , and I bet you get the value for your money.
The edges around the drum part are too high. Most of the time my grandson is just hitting the rim and not the 'skin'. Don't like how they have the cymbal attached, makes it sound very, very flat. Guess it is good for a kid that just wants to bang on something. I'm going to look for something better for my grandson.
We got this for my son who is 2 yrs old for Christmas. It is now the day after Christmas and the cymbal screw is stripped so we had to remove it because it would not stay in place. Also, one of the screws that came with it had not been threaded so we had to find another one. Overall I was not impressed.
The drum set was smaller than I expected. It was supposed to be for 3 and up but it should be for ages 1- 3. Overall I am disappointed.
The product was easy to assemble and my son loved it but it started coming apart after the first day. It should still be durable since it is made for a two year old. Small pieces started coming off So after 2 weeks I took it back. Now I'm having to search for another set..
