My little girl absolutely loved this little outfit. She's 4 and kind of small for her age so it is a little big on her but that just means she has longer to enjoy it. She c wore it the entire first day that i gave it to her and would've worn it to bed had i let her.
My daughter was dazzling on it the first she wore it but little kinda bigger than her size for now. I love the product and look very good on her. I will wait few more months so that she can wear them again. I recommend it!
I bought this for my one year old granddaughter. It goes perfectly with the vintage kitchen set her mom bought her for Christmas. Although she is tall for her age it's a little big for her but wearable. The soft pastel color complements her as a little lady and the pieces that accompanied the apron comes in handy for her cooking sessions. She's enjoying dressing up to play in the "kitchen."
It's an adorable set for lil chefs. And for as a gift too. But I ordered something else and recived This set. I was so upset first but then my daughter saw it an wanted it so bad that I had to give it to her. She looked adorable in it and played in her kitchen. Quality is good colors are nice. So I like it
The KidKraft Tasty Treats Chef Accessory Set comes with an apron, a chef's hat, a square pot holder, an oven mitt, and two plastic utensils. Mine came in pink and white but I believe there is a red option. It is made of very good durable material. My sons, who are 3 and 6, don't mind that it is pink; they still have a blast pretending to be little chefs. They take turns wearing the hat and apron and using the pot holders and utensils. It is a wonderful addition to any play kitchen or play food set. It is also a great outfit for playing dress up and pretend play. My children love using the pot holders to take food out of their play oven just like Mommy does. With the spoon and spatula, they stir and flip play food in their pots and skillets. I like that it is so cute and durable. The KidKraft Tasty Treats Chef Accessory Set keeps my children occupied for hours preparing food and learning different cooking techniques. This set makes their imaginations come to life and it really is worth buying. I recommend the KidKraft Tasy Treats Chef Accessory Set to anyone who has a play kitchen, play food, or a little dreamer who wants to feel like a real chef.
I accidently received this, would not have purchased because it was for younger kids, but everything fits my petite 7 year old sister just fine. Has pretty much everything you would need to pretend to be a chef. The fabric stuff is a little thin, but doesn't really matter since they will not actually be cooking with it. The plastic utensils are of good quality plastic. I would recommend to parents.
Super cute accessory set that came with the kitchen.. pots/pans, spatulas, oven mits, apron and chefs hat. Waaaay cute! A little bit big for my 2 yr old but I expected that as she is little and I don't think they to fit a 2 yr old, maybe a 3 yr old. But regardless they are adorable and she loves them anyway!
If your child is really into pretend play with cooking and all things kitchen then this set may add to their imagination and create some really wonderful play times. If your child is not like the one I mentioned above you might want to pass. I get it. The outfit is supposed to aide in a child's pretend play; fostering imagination and creativity. However, my favorite piece in this set is the apron and sadly it feels cheaply made. The material is thin and the strings attached to the apron that you'd tie around the waist are super thin. I wish the strings were wider in width and reinforced where they attach to the apron. I'm concerned it's a matter of time before they start to tear at the seam from lots of pulling by the kids. The chef hat and glove, however, are nicely made. They seem durable due to their tight seams and thicker fabric. The oven mitten is fixed at the opening (not stretchy or elastic) so if a child has a thick wrist or is plus sized their hand may be tight going in and coming out. The oven mitt and the potholder both have fabric hooks where you could hang them up. Those hooks are sewn in tightly. The Velcro on the chef hat is long and thick and seems as though it could stay on a child's head without falling off. I put it on all of my children's heads and it fastened snug and didn't slip or droop down. The spatula and spoon are made of a hard plastic and are not easily bent. The pink set is a true pastel pink. My kids weren't that impressed with the chef hat or oven mitt; probably because I don't wear those things at home. We never see a cook wearing a chef hat at the restaurants we frequent. So for my kids those weren't pieces with which they could relate. The apron and potholder however was a different story. Mommy uses those things all the time, so when they do play with this set they reach for the apron first. Overall, my children weren't that captivated by this set. They have a play kitchen and play food, plates, etc., which they play with all the time, but, this set didn't seem to add to their playtime. It became another item left on the floor for me to pick up.
Although my daughter is not quite 2, she already loves helping me in the kitchen. She even puts this on so she can "cook" on her pretend stove. This item is definitely meant for an older child though. The apron actually goes down to her toes. We put it on our 4 year old son & it was big on him as well. But other than it being big on them, they still love wearing it to "cook". It comes with an apron (with a pocket), chef hat, oven mitt, pot holder and 2 plastic "cooking" utensils (1 spoon & 1 spatula).
The KidKraft Tasty Treats Chef Accessory Set, Pink is cute and makes a child feel like they are a little helper. I've always enjoyed baking and always wear an apron when doing so, I thought my nieces would enjoy having a mini set to wear while helping me in the kitchen. The set in my opinion is very thin and made more for play time, than helping out in the kitchen. My nieces thought the hat (at first) was neat, but doesn't stay on very well. It (hat) has an adjustable velcro closure. The set also includes a oven mitt and a pot holder, which are also made of the same very thin material as the apron. The two spatulas (?) are gray plastic and not very realistic looking. My nieces actually prefer to wear my daughter's (from when she was their ages) apron(s). They think hers (my daughters) look more like mine. Overall a cute set, but definitely for pretend play, so keep that in mind.
