This pit is very easy to handle and works well on my deck. It shipped in one piece, so nothing to assemble. The 1 lb. propane jug is easy to hook up because there is a panel that opens on the front of the column. Some of the finish chipped during shipping but that was easily taken care of with a black marker. :-) Good for roasting marshmallows and that cozy feeling. It was just what I wanted and expected for a reasonable price.
These are my 2 accent pieces at either end of my new deck I built. They are extremely reasonable, look higher end and all you do is take them out of the box, attach the propane and light them after you pour the lava rocks over the top. They work great. The neighbor came over and looked at them and was amazed at how nice they were... I told her where to get them and she asked if I would mind if she mimicked me and did the same on her deck. That's the best compliment you can get! And you will never find a better deal!
