[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was motivated to buy this coffee maker more by the sleek look and name but when it made coffee and I got to use the features I was just so glad I purchased this fine coffee maker. Love the programmable feature and the brass filter is wonderful and cleans well. Make sure to measure your cabinet height as it's a tall machine. I've got it on a slider to access the back reservoir easier. It's a beautiful gray too. Really enjoying this abs of course, it makes good coffee, it's a Kitchenaid
This model has it all. I bought this because it has two timers (feature really hard to find) and a separate warming plate timer — up to 4 hours! I love the detachable vessel to fill, which eliminates the awkward filling method from the carafe. And the carafe itself is designed perfectly — no dripping!! I've considered buying another one to have down the road when/if this one breaks. I haven't seen another coffee maker on the market with all these great features — at least at this price point. Seriously, the best. Oh! Love the cord keeper too!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this unit as a XMas gift and very happy to receive. Really wanted this one cause of the heating pad can be set from one to four hours and will show the count down on the display screen. The water tank idea is also great to fill and just attach vs the old way of filling the pot and dumping into the water tank, creates much less of a mess. Only problem is the two pegs of the lid of the pot are a bit to long so very hard to remove from the handle. I now good to be tight, but this is about impossible to remove. Had to cut down the two pegs a bit and now removes easily. Like the way the handle locks down on the basket that holds the reusable filter. Believe it helps hold the basket better for when you pour a cup while unit is still running. Keep in mine that you will have to set this one side ways (wider) to see display and remove the water tank to fill and some head room. I store it on kitchen counter but must pull out so not under overhead cabinet.
I brought three different coffee makers within a months time and took them all back to the store. I finally got the right one...KitchenAid! I love the taste of the coffee that gives a nice rich brew! It's easy to program and nice features. I purchased the grey color that match my kitchen cabinets/countertops beautifully...need I say more how pleased I am!!

Love the appearance and do like it very much We've had a challenge with trying to re-set the warmer plate option when it goes off. Hoping to get that figured out soon. There is also water that runs down the side of the coffee pot when you lift the lid to take our the grounds basket. This is caused by a steam build-up from inside the lid. Understandable but it would be nice if there was an adjustment made to the unit thath would allow the water run down into the unit rather than the outside of it.

My only criticism is that the lid co raining the spiral spray apparatus is not free draining so when you lift the lid to set up your next brew, a good amount of water runs out and down the sides of the coffee maker
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) So I want to love it but there are 3 things that are seriously faulty. One, the separate water canister leaks when you fill it to reattach to the machine. Two, it's beeps that it is finished before it's ready to be poured. And three, when you lift the lift to take out the old filter the water from the last brew and condensation runs down the machine and all over the counter instead of back into the basket. Otherwise, I love the shape and the two power switches and that it has two timers.
I grew up thinking Kitchen Aid was a quality brand. Our second maker.. and again the low quality pot quickly wears down and breaks. Maybe a year old and handle just fell apart like junk. see photo.
