I looked at page after page of teapots and reviews until finally the name KITCHENAID popped into my head! They are known for solid quality and performance with tasteful design. I as not disappointed! Stay cool handle, pleasant whistle, solid feel and looks. This one will give years of faithful service and look good doing it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Works well, looks great, easy to clean

I've enjoyed using this product, the whistle is audible, it holds a good amount of water, etc. However, the screw that holds the handle near the spout has decided to come loose, which is a worrisome problem. Worse, it seems to refuse to go back in in order to fix it.
I bought this kettle in May of 2018 and was very happy with it for the first few months of use. The design is lovely, I love the button on the handle to open the spout, it holds plenty of water for a single person or a party of 10. To my dismay, in December, after using it for only 7 months, the inside cracked and broke apart; a fact I noticed as I was pouring water into the teapot. Needless to say, the small shards that poured out were not the ideal addition to my cup of tea. I'm dismayed, because really I love this kettle. Maybe mine was just a one-off. Either way, it's too pricey a kettle, lovely as it is, to only get 6 good months of use from it.
To be fair, we have used our kitchen aid kettle almost every day for four years so it's served us well. But lately it developed so much rust on the inside that we have had to discard it since it was just too unhealthy to keep drinking the colored water that came out of it. Bought another electric kitchen aid kettle to replace it, hopefully this one lasts longer.
I purchased this item 6 months ago for my fiance. The enamel is cracking a flaking off. I bought the kitchenaid tea kettle because I expected quality. The design is great. The handle is easy to grasp and use. The wide lid makes cleaning easy. I
I usually trust your brand so I bought this kettle last fall. Within 6 months the whistle and lever broke. Decided to keep using it and after a year, it's basically garbage. It looks awful. No longer whistles and will go in the garbage. I didn't keep my receipt (it wasn't electric so what could possibly go wrong?) so at very least letting others know that quality is horrible and not worth the money.
Wrong Kettle was shipped! They sent a Hamilton Beach DARK blue kettle! NOT worth the money I spent for a "KitchenAid" light blue kettle.
I ordered the Kitchen Aid Cameo Blue Tea Kettle and was sent an inferior brand in Navy Blue. How did this happen??
