The touch function is easy to do. The app connects easily. I truly love the piece of mind that it gives me and makes me feel safer! Overall, I'd certainly recommend the Level brand an this lock!

I love that it's compatible with all the smart devices that I already own. My friends were shocked when I first came back to my house with them and just touched the lock to go inside. I gave my family members key cards and it makes things so simple, especially when holding groceries. Because it uses the latest tech, it's super small and inconspicuous. This tiny, technologically advanced, yet simple lock is really a must have. I'm thankful that I have it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Level Lock - Touch Edition Smart Lock has a minimalist refined and elegant look that should match any décor and existing entryway hardware in your home. I would be proud to have it installed based on looks alone, but the features it boats are truly the best from any smart locks I have experienced. HomeKit integration was smooth and painless, and response time is typically pretty fast when using Apple Home or the Level Lock app. The automated locking and unlocking is smooth and free of any binding. The included instructions made Installation an absolute breeze and I was up and running in less than 30 minutes. One note to bear in mind is that the lock ships with two keys and two programmable NFC cards. While my family's iPhones handle unlocking without issue (so we can use the cards for guest use), the physical locking mechanism would require re-keying by a locksmith if I wanted it to use my home's existing keys – however this is not a big deal and is standard for ANY lock changes. I am very happy with this lock and highly recommend it to anyone using Apple HomeKit – response is fast, status polls are reliable (the lock/unlock state never goes out of sync as I have experienced with another brand), and it has not overheated or gone unresponsive after prolonged direct sunlight. Very pleased with the Level Lock - Touch Edition Smart Lock!

It looks like a ordinary lock but can be opened remotely with my phone. It is extremely useful especially when I have groceries in my hands. The Bluetooth function allows the door to unlock by itself when in closed proximity. I also like how I can lock and unlock the door by touching the lock. It's a very useful feature as I do not need to take out my phone nor do I need to use my keys when I leave the house. Just a simple touch on the lock and it'll do its job. Will be ordering another one for my back door soon.

The key are works great and I'm able to keep it in my wallet to unlock the door. It doesn't look like a smart lock which is great too! I to can set access to other people for certain days and times. So no more having to worry about give the neighbors a key when we go out of town.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Touch Smart Lock was not as easy as an installation as the box made it out to be. Everything looked good in the package, until you go to install and realize you are going to need to make a few modifications to your current door and door jam. The first problem I came across was the strike plate. It is much larger than my current deadbolt strike plate. I had to chisel out a good amount to begin with and after the installation, I realized the actual deadbolt is also larger. I ended up having to drill out some of the wood where the actual deadbolt inserts into. Installing the deadbolt mechanism wasn't difficult, however, the setup for the touch was a little confusing at first. The keys worked for us right away, but it did have issues here and there with both keys. I ended up having to re-key them and they still have difficulty occasionally. The app itself is not very user friendly. We have Ring and the features are far from great. It doesn't let us know when someone has locked or unlocked the door. It's like there is a disconnect between the keys, the touch, and the app; what is the point? Overall, if I knew what I know now upon installation, I wouldn't have necessarily installed this. It seems like it could be a great product, but there are too many kinks that need fixed before I could really say this is a great investment.

As a result, I researched and also looked at models available in store for purchase. Though I didn't spend the money to personally purchase, pricing was competitive and exterior box installation/set up instructions seems reasonably simply for a DIYer I could see this being helpful in a rental property or Air B&B application and will consider using it in ours.
It is really good looking but performance has been disappointing, to be honest. Touch seems to be touchy when unlocking so we switched to open upon approach and the timing of that works great sometimes and others has you waiting and touching and sometimes reaching for a key to open. Also, we've already replaced a battery, much quicker than expected.
