Lil' Sleeper Portable Bassinet With Canopy

The only bad thing about this product is that you can not find a fitted sheet to fit. If you look in the parts list, the sleeper is supposed to come with a fitted sheet. Mine did not. I emailed customer service and asked them to send me a sheet and they sent me one for free. You can also order an extra sheet but they are expensive compared to a fitted sheet you can buy in the store.
I bought this to keep at my bedside for the first few weeks after the baby was born as I was having a repeat csection and knew i'd need the baby close. He is now 10 weeks old and this is still where he sleeps, lol. I actually wanted a cosleeper, but this was less than a third the price (and was also much more functional). I can see him through the mesh sides when i'm laying in bed, and the zippered half mesh canopy makes sure the kitty can't get in with him. A very funtional, well priced (and cute) infant item.
We have yet to use this for the baby is not here yet. But it is set up and ready. We love the way it is made and the color is goning to go great with our baby boy. Great gift for someone who likes the out doors as we do. NO more bug bites for our little one. It will be great to travel with from home to grandma's house.
I bought this to use in my childcare. It's something I've been looking for, for many years. It was so easy to set up and I loved how the top dome zipped to keep the hands of the other children away from the sleeping baby. I highly recommend this product. I did not have bassinet sheets so I taped a receiving blanket to the bottom of it to keep it tight; Best piece of infant equipment I could have bought
i bouth it for someone out of the USA is very helpful because keep the baby cover and safe from mosquitoes, flyes and other incects that are very common in the caribbean also is good here when you to a park for a picnic with families, you don't have to worry about anything getting into the baby's not even a ball or leaves so baby is safe....
This item turned out great. We love it. Pros: It was very easy to put together. It does not take up a lot of room. Cons: The canopy does not fold completely out of the way Hint: A pillow case (king size?) works perfectly for a pad cover
it is good for the price and i like the hood because of our pet. but it does not go all the way back, but works well. you can use king size pillow cases as sheets on it.. i chose to make my own. its the same size covers i made for the changing station pad
This product is exactly what I need. It is small, portable, and easy to take down for travel. The only thing I wish were different is the canopy. It doesn't open all the way and it is a bit of a pain but thankfully my son is pretty small so it isn't too annoying yet.
I love this bassinet, it helps me feel that my baby is safe. Having 2 older children daughter 3 yrs and son 17 months our new little lady can be zipped up and have planty of air flowing in. With our son still in the crib we needed a bassinet until he is in his big boy bed. I am always affraird that one of my kids or one of the 4 other kids that I babysit everyday will eather try to take her out or put something in while I am not looking. Reveiws on Amazon were good so I baought it. One reveiw said that they acually cut the canopy off because it doesn't stay up unless you zip the mesh part up to it, which is true. I spent maybe $3 on mine to fix that problem. I baought a roll of 1/2 inch shoelace ribbon and a pack of small colorfull buttens and I allready had needle and thread. the shoe lace and buttens can be used for crafting with the kids too. But I attached a butten on to the canopy and one to the side of the bassinet. With the canopy and mesh zipped I messured and cut ribbon to size (from canopy to bassinet) slit a hole in ribbon and attached to buttens. I did that to both sides and now the canopy stays open. It took maybe 5 mins to do and cost very little and easily removavble. Check out my picture for better understanding. Other wise everything about this bassinet is great, very portable and safe to use outside. Also with walmarts site to store free shipping you can't beet the price. I highly recommed this
I thought this bassinet would be perfect for us as we have to keep our windows open all the time to let cool air in, and sometimes insects make their way in despite the screens. There is a large hole in the center of each side where the fabric canopy meets the metal frame, and it is of ample size to allow any insect into the bassinet. Also the bassinet is much larger than it looks in the picture and takes up a lot more space in our bedroom than we really had to spare. I was picturing a regular sized bassinet, just a mesh canopy instead of a frilly one. Last but not least, the pad is larger than other bassinets (due to the large size of the bassinet in general) and way too large for standard bassinet sheets. The parts list says the package includes a bassinet sheet, but upon contacting the company you will be told that this model does not include a bassinet sheet, but you are more than welcome to purchase one for roughly half the cost of the bassinet itself. Otherwise you just don't get to have a fitted sheet unless you know how to sew (and have time to with a newborn), or you can do like us and try to find a king sized pillow case (a standard adult sized pillow case isn't long enough) to just cover it up. All in all we thought we were saving money by purchasing this one. But when you add the shipping for the bassinet, then the cost of the sheet and additional cost to ship the sheet - you could have purchased a bassinet that costs twice as much instead and probably ended up with twice the quality.
