As a first time momma of a 2 week old, this app lets me collect soooo much information, helping me keep up with sleep trends and eating trends for my sweet boy. We keep our baby boy swaddled most of the day since he sleeps better that way, and the sensor is a perfect way to let us know when to change him so we don't have unswaddle him and disrupt his rest. I would highly recommend!!
We recommend the Lumi product. Delivery: super easy to order, quick delivery, easy options to choose from. Unboxing: Really nice. Feels like a luxury unboxing. Setup: Takes about 5 minutes and the whole thing works Usage: We use the combo of camera plus sensor to get the benefits advertised and it actually works! camera is best I've seen and the sleep product helps seeing baby's data and get better sleep. We got this as a baby shower gift and are very happy!
I love this product. It's made me so much more relaxed looking after my second baby. The camera is fantastic. The quality is amazing. It's so nice to be able to see clearly when my son is drifting off to sleep. It's really helped me know when a nap is going to work or not. The sensor has been so helpful, particularly at night to see feeding and sleep routines clearly. This week my baby has been a bit unwell so it's been really helpful to check when he last had a wet nappy to make sure he's getting enough fluids. Also helps because I don't have to disturb him to check if his nappy is wet. I'm so happy with this product and highly recommend it to all mums.
With 2 kiddos 2 years and under, Lumi has been an extremely helpful. It keeps me on track to remember my little ones ever evolving schedule while chasing around my toddler. It has been my favorite baby item with number 2 and wish I had it with my first.
I love my lumi system! Of course, the diapers are the best out there for softness for my baby, quality, and preventing leaks. But there's a few other reasons why I love it: 1 - The camera has great video quality and connects directly to my phone and we can watch from anywhere. Its nice to have the caretaker feature to let my mom use it too. Audio in the background is also a must have. 2 - The sensor is great at tracking sleep so i can really keep track of when she's sleeping and how much throughout the day to help us build a routine. The sensor is also nice to alert us when her diaper is really full so I can prevent a blowout or leak! 3 - The app was really helpful keeping track of feedings especially so my husband would know when to bottle feed after i went to bed and we'd both be able to see when she'd need to eat. 4 - Having all this is a single, simple app is convenient. Its nice to have everything for baby in one place - sleep, video monitor, feeding, insights, and diaper changes. I would recommend to any new mom.
As a data driven person and a new mom, it was only natural for me to use Lumi to monitor my baby's routine in order to understand better her needs. I love the fact that I can follow my baby's sleep, feed and potty, even when I'm not around. I can go out with my partner for few hours and leave my baby with her grandparents- If I'm worried for her (as I said- new mom, always worried haha) I can just watch the Lumi app and see that she slept well, she recently ate x ml of milk from a bottle, her diaper is dry, so everything is under control. It's also easy to predict her behavior using the Lumi app. As a 4 months old, my baby's needs are very basic, so if she's crying- I can open the app, see that she ate an hour ago (so she's probably not hungry), that she recently slept and that the diaper status is “very wet” - so I know exactly why she is cranky. I get a mobile notification about her diaper so I can clean her up before she's even complaining. This is super helpful, especially when we are with her outside the house and can be sure we're unbundling her for a good reason. Being a new mom, I'm usually tired, so it's really useful for me to have in the app the status of my last breastfeeding in the dashboard (R/L side, how long ago..), mainly during night feeds when I'm basically a zombie. All of this together with the best quality monitor, the fact the data is super helpful to understand her sleep routine and the Insights which explain her growth leaps, make me super grateful to be using Lumi with my baby.
I had a baby boy at 26 weeks and sleep is very important for development, so the sleep tracking made all the difference! The camera quality is absolutely fantastic and it also allows you to zoom in! The diaper sensor that tells you when baby is wet is also an added bonus because my son is on a diuretic which makes us have to track how many diapers he using and this makes it so easy in one app! The Lumi support/customer service team was fantastic they responded within 15 minutes of getting into contact with them! Must have for preemie or even full term children! (My son is an adjusted newborn, not available on the choices for age)
The Lumi is a comprehensive system used to track your baby's diaper, sleep, feeding, and activity. The high definition video camera allows us to monitor our baby conveniently through an easy to navigate app through our phones. It is easy to give temporary access to grandparents and other caregivers so that all people who care for our baby can stay connected and on top of baby's needs. I love that I can easily check the last time our baby napped or was fed while I was away from him. We also found it very convenient to check the status of our baby's diaper without having to disturb him. The application sends notifications directly to both of us and my phone when baby is very wet which has helped us avoid diaper rash completely with our newest addition. During appointments with our pediatrician the Lumi app made it easy to answer specific questions about number of wet and dirty diapers, feeding, and sleep schedules. I am sure that the system would be especially helpful when tracking a sick child. We have found the tracking system to be extremely helpful in establishing and changing routines based on patterns our baby is setting. A must have system!
We've been sorely disappointed with our experience so far. The sensor & camera will only sync with one of our phones. Want to track bowel movements? Sorry-even though the app. makes it seem like the sensor tracks these, they must be entered manually, so if you (like us) were expecting that to be a feature, you're SOL. When adding feedings to the app, there is no option for a formula/milk combination-you need to make two separate entries. We mounted the camera on the wall using the included wall anchors- unfortunately, the design of the camera's latches to the base are not robust. The weight of the camera pulls on these latches, resulting in lost power to the camera at very inopportune times (like when you're trying to monitor your newborn!). The sensor's sleep tracker does not appear to work when you're in the car and/or on the move with your baby-we noticed multiple times that our baby was sleeping during car rides, walks, etc.-but the sensor never logged these, and recorded this as "awake" time on the app. Last but not least, is the return process- that is still ongoing. After all of these issues, we wanted our money back. Due to the camera mounting issues, Pamper's website indicated that they will pay for shipping due to the design defect. Customer Service, however, told me there was no option for them to pay for the shipping-we would have to pay ourselves (regardless of what the website said). I appealed again, and was told we'd receive a return box "within 7 to 10 days." I mentioned that the additional 7-10 days would put us out of our 30 day time frame for a refund, & was told that another department handles returns, so we may get our $300+ back-or we may not. My advice- don't waste your time with this product.
Doesn't connect and Pampers has discontinued production, support, and functionality by the end of March of 2023
