Maxi-Cosi sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program and I was super excited to try it out! The stroller is super easy to put together. Just a few clicks and you're ready to go. The stroller moves smoothly and easily and you have the option of changing the front wheel to be multi-way or locking it so it only goes straight. I also love the cupholder! A lot of other strollers don't include one and you have to buy it separately. I loved that this just came with one. There's plenty of storage spaces to store extra items as needed. The car seat is comfortable and you can easily click it on and off the stroller. The car seat itself is nicely cushioned and our baby doesn't cry when I put her in. For this price point this is a great buy! Definitely would recommend it!
This is a great set. It's very convenient to have an infant seat the fits right onto the stroller so easy. My DD seems very happy and comfortable riding in the car seat. We have not had any crazy outbursts since I have switched to this seat. The car seat is pretty lightweight. Living in Florida I was concerned about her overheating in the seat. The seat provides great airflow and the fabric does not heat up. The stroller is very easy to fold up and pop in the truck. The complete system really shines and I get compliments on it every time we are out. The stroller also handles very very well it is strong yet easy to manipulate. No complaints from my husband about this set. He hated our uppa and made me promise not to get another one we DD.
This maxi-Cosi travel system is every parent's dream. It makes everything so much easier! This was very easy to set up and use. Amazing quality. Very sturdy and very well made. I feel safe and happy using this with my baby. It's easy to breakdown when needed. I absolutely love it!
This is the best stroller I've ever used. The wheels move so smoothly with no issues at all. It's a comfortable ride for the baby without a bump if there's a tiny pebble in the road. It's very easy to fold and unfold. I like that the material is washable for when that is needed. The stroller has many storage compartments to hold my phone and wallet. The car seat is nice and the baby looks snug in it. It's easy to carry.
This travel system is such great value. I love the all black look it's sleep and so easy to fold. The car seat looks super high end for the price point. The stroller canopy is very generous. Has great cushion to it. Such a great buy I would highly recommend. I dare say this car seat gives nuna a run for their money.
I had a travel system with our last baby and really loved it so I was excited to try something different. The stroller was easy to put together and folded in half making it slightly smaller (lengthwise) than my last. With that said, it does have a slightly smaller undercarriage but is easy to access from front and back that still provided a decent amount of space. What I wasn't used to was that the carseat attached onto the stroller seat which made it feel bulkier. I'm used to the travel system where the carseat attaches directly to the stroller frame and can be swapped out for the seat once baby was bigger, not one sitting on top of the other. The carseat itself was significantly heavier than my last and with baby, it was quite heavy. I don't have alot of upper strength so using a carseat that is in and of itself heavy might make me reconsider. The stroller was easy to maneuver especially with one hand and having the 3 wheels vs 4 made it that much easier. The seat was easy to adjust and provided enough cushion where you really dont feel the frame. The canopy was great in providing shade on the sunny days and the mesh vent allowed air to flow while I can peek in from above. Overall, I felt it was durable and great for something that can last through the early stages from baby to toddler.
So I have 4 babies, and between all of them I have tried about four different brands of car seats and 2 for strollers, until I found our one. When I received this travel system my first impression was WOW this fabric seems very high end and good quality! (Super breathable which is HUGE for us during summer). Upon opening and putting it together I can tell guarantee you this is going to be one of the easiest systems you'll ever put together! Can't get easier than this! Let me get onto the car seat first. The car seat fits my 17lb baby just fine! It's very comfortable and the padding all around makes her fall asleep within 5 minutes of being on it. Fabric is soft and high quality, and I like the fact that is very straightforward to adjust to their size, unlike other car seats. The downside for me with the car seat itself it's that to me, it feels very light, (as well as its base) which could be a good thing when carrying around a carseat, but to me it's light where it almost seems flimsy to me. And this is the reason I'm giving it 4 stars; to the carseat. Now down to the stroller. The stroller I completely fell in love with & apparently both my babies did as well, because they both fell asleep within 10 minutes of me putting each one in it; Both a 10months old and a 28month old toddler. It has a roomy basket, and a cup holder that makes it very convenient for us mommas. The canopy does a fantastic job protecting my littles from the sun and the fact that the stroller is able to be used in gravel, dirt and grass without the need for air filled tires is huge for us because in the past getting flat tires in our strollers has been a huge inconvenience. I would 100% recommend the stroller. The whole system I recommend, but the only one reason I didn't full five stars to the car seat is honestly because it doesn't feel "strong enough" for me. I like to find "steel proof" car seat for my babes.
I'm very impressed by this Gia XP Luxe 3-Wheel Travel System. The luxe materials and top quality safety design will serve any new parent and baby well. Pros: — Very competitive price-point for a high-end all-in-one bundle. —Great padding for protection and comfort — Luxury material on the carseat and stroller plus a nice handle bar grip — Great wheels for all terrain strolling and a very smooth ride. — Assembly is nearly complete and ready for baby right out of the box. All you have to do is snap the wheels on the stroller, install the seat in the car and you're ready to go. — Perforations in the seat allow for extra airflow. These seats can get very warm, especially when a child is facing backward away from car vents. This seat's ventilation allows for comfort on hot days. — Firm foot-activated lock feature for wheels keeps the stroller in place — Extended canopies on the seat and stroller both have 3 different positions, keeping the sun out of baby's face at any time of day. Stroller canopy has a mesh section so you can see baby at all times. Cons: — Handle bar is just a little tall for me, a 5'5" woman. This would be a big perk for taller individuals. —Stroller seat is not very deep and starts to slope downward at about 7" without the padding. My 6 year old likes to ride on occasion and while she can fit, it's not meant for her size. — Recline positions on the stroller are only adjustable via a pull strap, which causes fabric slack in the seat if it isn't in the recline position — There is no seat bar or snack bar on the stroller. We stopped using the stroller harness once our son was around two, we but appreciate a bar to keep him in place. — There is no dedicated footrest for kids with longer legs. Bottom line, this is a fabulous travel system for the baby stage, but might need to be upgraded for more mobile kids after 12-18 months. Pro: this stroller is super simple to collapse and fold with one hand using the tab in the seat. Just pull and down it goes. I love how large the cupholder is compared to the other strollers I've used in the past. I really like the convenience of the lift up flap to the storage bin underneath from the front. This makes for quick and easy access to things when needed without needing to go behind the unit. The handle on the stroller is adjustable which is perfect for my husband and I with him being 6'3" and me being only 5'2". I can appreciate the reversible material insert for the stroller to switch for hot and cool temperatures. I love how large the canopy is and with a lift up flap for quick view to see your baby without the loud Velcro sound. It has great ventilation on the sides as well. This stroller glides well over rough terrain as well as sidewalks and grass Con: Once collapsed, because it is only three wheels, it's a little unsteady and will need to be stored laying down. I really wish there was a snack tray or bar on the front to attach toys to keep one entertained while in the stroller itself. I appreciate the car seat attaches to the stroller, but the "adapters" to do so feel a little cheap like they might not last very long. It's also tricky to line up to attach quickly with a baby in it. The buttons for the car seat handle prove difficult to access once on the stroller to adjust for someone with shorter arms like myself. I am not a fan of the buckle on the harness in the stroller. It makes it more difficult to get a wiggly child in and out of while having to attach the two claps together before buckling into the closure. Overall a great smooth riding stroller with awesome features. Some minor tweaks from perfect but well worth the use! Thanks
Overall I would say we are happy with the travel system. I was slightly put off because of the quality of the product at the price point. But functionally everything works well and we have no issues using it. The adjustment of the car seat straps was a bit on the cumbersome side but manageable.
