My 85 year old Mother purchased this chair because she has some difficulty standing from a seated position. She really likes this chair and uses it all the time. The site-to store delivery was only 7 days. The chair was completely assembled. The chair is well made and the lift mechanism works smoothly. The control has one paddle switch on it to perform all functions and is easy for her to operate.
Bought almost the same chair through a pharmacy, and paid $1200.00. Same color, size, material, only difference the pharmacy chair you could turn heat on in the back of the chair. Put a heating pad between you and the back of the Walmart chair - same thing for $500.00 less. Also Walmart gave me a free $50.00 online gift card (my son bought Black Ops).... Great service at the store, I had it delivered to my local store and went to pick it up. I have no problems with anything related to this chair and would highly recommend it.
Very sturdy, quiet , comfortable. My 83 yr old mother operates it very easily. She loves it!
Terrific service and pick up was easy.
These chairs sit well and the lift is great for older folks who need a boost to stand. Unfortunately the motor mechanisim has lots of plastic and does not hold up well. The first two of these chairs were bought from Montgomery Ward in 1995 and 1996. These lasted had metal motor brackets and lasted for abou 10 years before the chair wore out. This chair and two others were bought from Walmart and the first two lasted about a year before the plastic motor mounts broke and we replaced them with the motors from the old chairs. Now those are broken as well and we bought another because the 92 year old user likes them and uses one constantly. The original design with the metal motor mounting bracket were great.
You can't get the company to call you back or do they answer there email. I can't afford to buy a chair every year. (DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY)
