This product is great, very lightweight , very easy to use, and does better at steaming your clothes than other products of this kind.The Rowenta Garment Steamer is not only for light jobs but can be used on many projects. I tested this product on several different fabrics with the same results each time.I Love the Rowenta Garment Steamer and i highly recommend it to all.
This steamer is wonderful! I love that it is portable and so easy to use. I leave it in my bathroom so that when I get dressed in the morning if something needs a little unwrinkling (and lets face it I am a working mom of two so actual ironing doesn't happen) I have it handy and in just a few min its perfect. I love that the water tank is removable so I can fill and empty it quick if I need to. I really recommend this steamer!
It is so handy. I just keep it next to my closet and when I need to iron something I can just turn it on! I would recommend this to anyone who needs to iron in a hurry. Only down part is, I need to go over the same spot numerous times before the wrinkle comes out.
The Rowenta Compact Full Size Valet Fabric Steamer is fairly easy to put together once you take it all out of the box. The directions for use were straight to the point. Just hang up the item you want to iron or sanitize, and then fill the tank up with tap water under or at the fill line. Be prepared, when you first plug it in, it automatically starts building up steam! (At least it did in my case, I maybe hit the "on" lever when putting it together, or maybe I didn't, not sure.) You want to definitely be careful to keep your skin away from the steam area because boy it gets VERY HOT!
We use this to steam our clothing. It is a wonderfully designed product. It's quite elegant and looks to be of high quality. It is very easy to assemble and use. My children have even used it and have had an easy time. It's easy to store and heats up much faster than other steamers I have used. The wheels make it even more convenient. It's easy to bring it up and down stairs which is super important to me. I've used it at least a couple dozen times already, and it's still working like the day I got it.
Let me just start out with the fact that i cannot iron clothes. Everytime I attempt to iron an article of clothing, I have either burnt myself or the clothing. That being said, I usually only purchase clothes that do not need to be ironed or ones that can be hung up out of the dryer.
I have had previous experience with garment steamers, most recently, a Conair 1500 Watt full-size garment steamer. When using this Rowenta steamer, I had certain expectations based on the Conair steamer. The bottom line is that this steamer works great for its primary purpose - steaming. Below are my pros and cons:
My handheld steamer was acting up so I bought this because I needed something that would knock out wrinkles on 22 white linens for our daughter's wedding. My only complaint is that the wheels don't really work that well on most hard surfaces. At least the one I bought doesn't and the steam hand held part of the steamer doesn't stay in the hooked position. Keeps falling out...thinking about using some sort of strap to hold it in. But, it does an excellent job of removing tough wrinkles/creases, quickly.
I have had this steamer for about 2 years. I really worked great. We loved it. Strong steam. The pant crease tool is excellent. Nice sized water tank; seemed to have lasted about a month between fillings. Unfortunately, however, these steamers only last about 2 years. It appears the heating element in ours has died; no steam. I really expected to get more than 2 years out of a Rowenta product. Not the case evidently. I will not be replacing it with another Rowenta.
I bought this steamer thinking it would make life so much easier well the first time I used it I was having to chase the bottom hem line of blouse shirt pants whatever I was steaming around and around...there is nothing to hold your garmet in place while you steam it..so therefore you use your fingers to grab the bottom of the garmet to hold it tight and of course you end up burning your hands and fingers..Come on Rowenta...you can do better than this on ALL of your steamers..not just the Master steamer choice..this one has every single item and then some that the Master Steamer has EXCEPT>>>> THE ROLL DOWN BACK SUPPORTER!!!! I am sooooooooo disappointed in Rowenta for even selling this product that I have not one doubt that the quality control people KNEW EXACTLY THAT THIS NEEDED THAT ROLL DOWN BACKING FOR STEAMING...ROWENTA YOU SHOULD RENAME THIS STEAMER TO IF YOU WANT TO STEAM DRAPES BUY ME!!! OTHERWISE I AM USELESS!!!
