ORDERED PRODUCT AND RECEIVED WITHIN 3 DAYS. EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT ONE OR YOUR CHILD HAVE THIS ON THEIR CHRISTMAS LIST.
I have long had my Xbox 360 pro from its early years, but memory and age were pushing it beyond its limits. The new Xbox E is great for new 360 players and old fans needing an upgrade. Its one package worth the money investing. Stylish, small, and quiet makes it great in any room. Though about 25 GB are already used when you turn it on there's still a lot of memory that can be used to buy games on demand where the deals are worth it. The package includes two great games I never get tired of an extra month of gold to really pull out the 360s potential. My only disappointment was that it came with the standard AV cables so you'll have to get an extra HDMI cable if you don't have one lying around. Memory, new accessories, two mind blowing games, and a redesigned console is worth your money and an invest worth making for any one looking to buy a great gamer console.
Everything works out of the box. For those that have never owned an XBOX before, there is a bit of set up reqiured. First off, I recommend getting a long HDMI cable to plug into your TV. Next you have to set up an XBOX Live account either through the unit or on a PC. You will probably need to go to a PC to do this as it will be faster. Also, expect to have to purchase a subscription for the Live account. The cost varies but you can go with month, to 2 year advance purchase. What do you get for this? You get access to online gaming, 2 free downloadable games a month. Problem here is that if the games are Mature rated you may not want them for the kids. I went with different games for the kids other than the ones delivered with the bundle. The existing games are to violent and have scarey images for children. (At least for ours) There are a lot of services with the Live subscription but many of those also require subscriptions as well. So care is needed to prevent you from being Subscriptioned to death. We bought the kinect separate to get a better cost deal and were happy with this purchase.
I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband and he love it. I was happy because of the value and ease of getting to great games and a controller included!
We know this product well, have had several through out the years of raising children and has always been a good experience. I'm sure this Christmas will be the same.
This is a good value for the money. I did not get the bundle I ordered though. They sent me another bundle that was missing a game. Other games were ordered so it all worked out. Now if I can just figure out how to make things happen in the games I'll be happy.
when putting a bundle out it should come with the basics and the games separately. I would of much rather had 2 controllers and the connects than having to buy them separately thinking you are getting a real deal when games area dime a dozen
It says it comes with tomb raider and halo 4 but tomb raider has to be downloaded which will not work very well for us here in the country when our only source of Internet is Hughes net. It will take forever to download if it downloads at all. Also, I purchased it right when it was being marked down to $250.00. So the $279 price with a free option I was purchasing turned into the $250 price and I was charged for the option that I never would have bought had it not been part of the package. Walmart should have emailed me and told me of the price change. As soon as I placed my order I received an email that it was on sale for $250. So I was given the sale price but charged for the option so no money was saved. Not a very good deal!!!!
I was excited to receive the Xbox 360 bundle for my daughter for Christmas. She doesn't play the games that came in the bundle so I was going to give those to my nephew for Christmas and get her sports games to play. I was highly disappointed to find out only one game came in the bundle. The second game wasn't actually a game but a card with information to download that game. We do not and my nephew does not play on the internet, so therefore neither of us are able to use the second game. If a bundle comes with two games, it should include the two games, not a downloadable version of a game.
