Always wanted one great for exercise!!
One item at a time to keep from confusing the issue too much: The Xbox with Kinect (approximately $250 value) is a great product for getting a little more movement in your gaming. I was amazed at how well the Kinect read moves, though it seemed to have some problems reading fast movements and I had to lock my cat in the basement to use it (it couldn't out whether to follow my hands moving or the cat running past my feet). It uses a combination of motion and infra-red reading to get an image of your body and movement. The Kinect also needs a fair amount of space in order to work well: those with small or crowded living rooms beware! Your Shape Evolved 2012 (approximately $30 value) is a fantastic amalgamation of almost all the movement games I've seen so far. You have a few different styles of dance, boxing, running, jump rope, dance-dance, as well as the actual exercises (crunches, pushups, squats, etc). The main complaint I have with it is that NONE of the exercises explain what they're going to ask you to do before they start scoring you on how well (or not) you're doing it. The Fitbit Ultra (approximately $60 value) is a fun little bonus item to have with the game. It measures your steps walked, distance walked, flights climbed, and how much/well you have slept through the website or your mobile phone. It was interesting to find out just how much I wake up in the middle of the night.
