yes this is a great game console but i would not recommend the early ones just the new ones.
There is nothing about this system that I have had a complaint about within the year and half I have owned it. Even the warranty is awesome just got three red rings and no problems whatsoever replacing it. I am pheening to get my console back but that just lets me know how much that machine has become a part of my life. I play music from my computer with wireless network adapter, download movies and TV shows, demos for new games, download retro and new arcade games, and collect acheivements for my efforts. The best part is I get to play online with my friends. I have to say even though I have pay for Xbox live it is still is a very enjoyable experience. I am not downing Sony's PS3 as I don't have one yet,( and yes I am planning on getting one as soon as the price drops again, but xbox live is definitely a complete gaming experience. I hope this review helps you and hopefully look forward to playing some Unreal Tournament 3 with you if it ever comes for 360 lol. Have good one
It's a new console that has improved technology and uses a wireless internet service for Xbox Live. Regular Xbox games work with this console too.
This is an Xbox elite minus the bigger hard drive and black cover. I had no problems with it and it runs good.
The xbox 360 is great for gaming, with a large number of blockbuster titles from halo 3, to guitar hero, rock band, and some great games to come such as Rainbow six Vegas 2, and Grand theft auto 4. The xbox 360 is also great for playing online with what most consider to be the best online gaming experience, xbox live. With a broadband connection you can even access the xbox live marketplace to rent movies in HD, purchase episodes of hit TV shows, download video game, and movie trailers, purchase new levels or other addon's for you existing games and much more. The xbox 360 is a great console that's sure to please any gamer.
I was really afraid to get this with all of the problems that have been going on with this system. But so far about 6 hours of gaming has been done and no problems. This is much better than the Arcade version and if you don't have an HDTV then I recommend that you get this version rather than the Elite, because other wise you will be paying for things that you can't use. Take care of the system and it will give you lots of joy.
The second i opened the box to my XBOX, i was amazed. It has a very sleek design and cool white really sets the tone. Now im a loyal Sony playstation fan BUT i truthfully have nothing bad the to say about microsoft. they made and amazing product. I recent bought the wireless router and bought me and xbox live account and im HOOKED, this is by far the best investment ive ever made!
I'm enjoying my Xbox 360. I use it with LCD-HDTV monitor and the graphics are really great. I've felt like a little kid on christmas morning for the past two months. I'll never grow up now!
If you are deciding which console to get out of all three you are in the exact same situation I was in not to long ago. It's a hard choice between the 3 great consoles out right now. The PS3, while not having the best games right now, has hardware that is much better then the 360 and in the next few years you will see that in the games. Now about that Wii, sure it is pretty fun for a while but what about those titles that all your friends are talking about say Bioshock, HALO 3, Gears of War and that's only a few. Well those are for the Xbox 360 as is most of the great games coming out for this new generation. The system combines great graphics with amazing online gaming with your buddies and it's now only $349. It has so much to offer, high def gaming, a hard drive, HDMI, wireless controllers and a huge library of games that is growing weekly. I recommend this to anyone who is considering next gen and doesn't know which to choose. (Oh yeah and about the over heating issue that you are hearing about, it's rare mine hasn't had one problem and even if it does Microsoft is going to have you covered for the ring of death for THREE YEARS so there is really nothing to worry about.)
Well, it is a very entertaining system...until it pauses once and you start it back and what happens? The infamous "Red Ring of Death!" But overall the actual game play is really good. Seems to be a better selection of titles than it's competitor. But I personally would not recommend the 360. I've had 2 and I'm afraid of getting another one.
