I read several reviews before I purchased this Xbox and found that a lot of customers had complained about this model overheating. While it does tend to get a little too warm time to time, it presents absolutely no issue with performance. I've had the product for a month now and I am definitely pleased with my purchase. Of course I would rather it not get so hot, hence the 4 out of 5 for Meets Expectations, but I will happily deal with what I have. You can't beat $350 for an Xbox with a 320 GB hard drive, two custom controllers that have turning d-pads (currently $60 each when sold separately), a wired headset, and an included copy of Modern Warfare 3. To me, the controllers and the hard drive alone are enough to make this worth the price.
It looks great, sounds great and preforms great. I bought this from gamestop because walmart was out of it. It does not run hot it only runs warm after 4 hours of play. It can run up to 15 hours straight without getting hot. Lay it down so all sides have air and download the game to the HDD to prevent wear on the CD. 320gb HDD - 125+ 2 mw3 controllers - $120 xbox counsel 4gb -$199 mw3 game -$60 360 headset-$10 All cabels included and 4 AA batteries. Game says not for resale on back. for $400 it is a gr8 deal.
I bought this for my husband. He has no complaint about it, the only complaint is that I tell him to turn it off because I cant sleep at night, He loves it. And the price was a plus....
IT IS A VERY GOOD SYSTEM BUT THERE ARE COMPLANTS ABOUT IT GETING HOT IT IS BECAUSE WHEN YOU SIT IN ON ITS END THE COOLING FAN IS ON THE END SO IT CAN'T GET AIR TO COOL IT SELF SO TURN IT ON THE OTHER END

A great improvement over the older XBOX 360, smoother action, better feedback to the controlers, and with 4 kids wanting to download games the 320 gigs is going to come in handy.
This Xbox 360 is awesome i love it what made it better is that it came with to beast controllers and the game mw3. The big 320gb hard drive is awesome i will always have memory for any downloads i want to get. This Xbox is the best Xbox out.
This is a great value, Compared to the standard 250 GB Xbox 360, this unit comes with two controllers rather than one (1 controller =$60 retail value), COD MW3 game ($50-60 retail value), the hard drive is 320 GB (30% larger than the standard 250 GB), the unit also has the unique MW3 graphic on the unit and the two controllers. This bundle cost me only $50 more than the standard 250 GB model, this is a great value even if you already own the MW3 game. Two controllers is a big plus if this is your first Xbox 360, as you always need the extra controllers.
From what I've experienced first hand is that it gets hot, then i looked it up on the internet and more people have had this problem. Yes, I bought one and played it for maybe.. hmmm 20-40 hours? idk not much more then that but it runs hotter then the other newer slim 360s.... Well I bought a new game alongside it The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, and the first few days... idk say a week were fine.. Then all of a sudden out of the blue it wouldn't read the disc. OK brand new disc, and you maybe thinking i did something to it? No, i left it sitting in the same spot in my house for that week... it was a bummer, but not only did i pay $430 bucks for it after taxes but all i could do was return it for the same complete set up. I didn't want the same thing I wanted my money because it was junk. So do not buy unless you just can't live without one. I'd go with a regular 250gb because I'm sure it will last unlike this one... Btw no that disc i got was not laser burned or anything no scratches it was flawless.. and even so i downloaded it to the hard drive.
I had to buy this console from Game stop because Walmart was sold out but I brought it home and plugged it right in. As soon as I turned it on, the tray started opening and closing. I cleaned off the open button and it still continued to open and close, even when a game was in the tray. I left it off for a couple hours thinking that might help and it still did it. Just open and closed on its own. Had to take it back. Wouldn't buy it.
