It’s smells so good. I was afraid to buy it but I’m glad I did. I use it as a base and layer with a fruity floral perfume. I get compliments all the time and they ask what I’m wearing.
I don't typically buy scents like this, but I decided to try it out. It's a sweet, refreshing clean scent. I like to apply this after my nightly shower.
I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE!!!!!!
I've tried so many perfumes and this is finally the one. This fragrance wears more like the lingering smell of a fresh shower soap than a perfume in all the best possible ways. I'm sensitive to strong perfumes and easily put off by sweet florals and powdery vanilla. I like woodsy musks, oud, and vetiver, but I also find most overpowering or overtly masculine. Even though I think those scents are beautiful, wearing them makes me feel over-perfumed and uncomfortable. I tried this based on the quiz I took on the site along with Floral Musk. I tried the Floral Musk first and found it WAY too sweet. But once I sprayed on Musky Aldehydes, I knew I'd found the Goldilocks scent I'd been looking for. It's so light and clean smelling that it doesn't seem like perfume. It's more like a fresh t-shirt line dried on a sunny day or your favorite soap. It's not overpowering but is noticeable in a way that's more intimate than showy. A great everyday scent. My LONG quest of trial and error is over.
This one took a while for me to get used to. It is very strong. Like you want to spray in the air and walk through to wear it. BUT! Once you get the hang of how to wear it without it being over powering, it is lovely. Floral but super clean. And it lasts ALL day.
This reminds me of both Irish Spring and Dove bar soap. It is a very strong, synthetic, long-lasting ‘clean linen’ and soap scent. This is to smelling freshly-showered what being nacho cheese blasted is to Goldfish crackers. It would make a great linen spray, it’s definitely unisex, but it doesn’t smell particularly luxe since it smells like basic soap. You could definitely over-spray this and get a headache, but if you don’t it’s nice. It layers well with other fragrances. It’s really nice with Citrus Neroli and Ambery Tuberose, and I think it’s a good office fragrance.
Bought this blind, and it smells nothing like I thought it would! I'm not a floral fan usually, but this is so mellow and balanced. It smells much sweeter on me than I thought, too, as sandalwood tends to be for me. Looking forward to trying it layered with Citrus Tea as recommended!
Not nearly as strong or long lasting as I had imagined especially based on the reviews. I can spray it three times on myself and by the time I walk downstairs, my husband can hardly smell it on me. It is a nice fresh scent though.
I’ve never smelled the original Byredo scent so not sure how this holds up in comparison. But this one smells VERY powdery…like very much something you’d smell on an elderly woman. Just not my preference :(
The scent of this perfume reminds me of nail polish remover and was super strong. The floral notes did not particular come through very much for me. Is definitely a distinct scent.
