I didn’t expect to love this one as much as I did. When reading the notes, I thought it was going to be too smoky/heavy/woody for me. You do get the woody/incense-y smell at the top, but it’s not overbearing, it’s just enough. As it wears, it becomes more of a woody-clean scent. It *barely* leans masculine, but I’d personally argue that it’s true unisex. The fragrance wears very close to the skin, it’s not a big cloud (which i prefer).
Favorite daily wear for almost 3 years. I absolutely adore this fragrance. I get complimented on it almost daily. My husband have asked on numerous occasions for me to leave a worn t-shirt sprayed with this perfume when I'm away from home. I get more mileage out of this fragrance when I apply a dimethicone body lotion on after a few spritz.
I swear I have never received so many compliments from men and women alike than I have from this scent! It starts off fairly woody but it mellows out into a more masculine-leaning smooth yet sweet musk that smells incredible on skin and clothes! 10/10 would recommend!

I have ordered a lot of scents from Dossier and they have been great. But this one is by far and away my favorite. The initial smokiness (reminds me of drinking mezcal by a camp fire) settles down into something so amazing I don't even know how to describe it. I probably look silly, but I keep smelling myself all day when I wear this one.
I love Gaiac by Le Labo, and this is very close. It's a beautiful complex woodsy musk. I feel so much better enjoying it without paying $300 for a small bottle you have to fly to Japan to buy. Le Labo is ridiculous. Highly recommend this dupe and I'm never satisfied with dupes, but this is well executed. Only minor differences in dry down. But just as beautiful, perhaps a bit sweeter. The only thing I miss is a hint of tea I pick up in LL's Gaiac. If you like Le Labo's Gaiac, buy this, I think you'll be thrilled!
Perfect men’s signature scent. Smells like a very clean incense. This fragrance is intimate and crowd pleasing making it perfect for any environment including the office. It is quite light so I tend to overspray this fragrance. Went through my first bottle in about a month and didn’t hesitate to purchase my next as soon as I noticed I was running low.

It is somewhat near the original, though there are some minor discrepancies. When the original dies down it leaves more of the base notes to linger, however I do not pick up the same with this version. I also wish that it would project more and last longer - but even the original does not project much or last very long. For the price it is definitely worth it.
I have a small sample of Le Labo's Gaic 10 which is an incredible earthy smoky unisex scent. This one is good but I'm getting a hickory, bbq scent off the top. Smells so much like liquid smoke to me. It smells less so in the dry down but it still smells like I was outside next to the bbq. It's a nice scent and I'm sure I'll use the whole bottle but I'm still on the hunt for a dupe of the og which is hard to get year round
