For the money this was a great deal. I bought this as a replacement for a 30 year old Peavey XR-600 which finally died. The sound is very good on the highs and mid range. But the bass is a little muddy. It needs more than its 5 band eq so that could be filtered out. I use it at mostly normal room listening volume for my turntable, pc, cd sound and my old Fender Rhodes piano. It's fan cooled so at this lower volume the fan noise is a little annoying. I had to buy a turntable pre-amp because I couldn't hear the turntable too well. My old Peavey didn't need that. Having a headphone output is great. That's something most mixer/ amps don't have but should. Overall all I'm very pleased. If you're on a budget this is great. If not spend almost twice as much and get a better mixer/ amp with more eq and inputs
