We love the breathing bands as they are a non "tech" approach to breathing monitoring. That is, the bands themselves are just a pattern and there are no electrical components on them. We don't monitor them all the time but it is great to check on them periodically and the red alert is a good feature too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The band is great because it can be used with any pajamas your child is accustomed to. With warmer weather starting this is great to use with my baby's summer pajamas. We also really like the other breathing wear and use all the different types including the pajamas and sleep sacks. It's easy to wash if necessary and is holding up very well. We've use the small and large size, beginning with small when our baby was a newborn and now just moving to the large. They hold the color through many washes. We use breathing wear every night. It gives me and my spouse tremendous peace of mind to know our sweet baby is ok through the night.
We had originally bought the Owlet but could never get it to function correctly and as tired new parents fussing with something that just gets frustrating is not something you want to do especially when it disturbs your sleeping babe. This dear breathing band provides the peace of mind I wanted and I love that there is nothing with batteries attached to my baby while he sleeps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy the Nanit for peace of mind, especially through the infant stage. However, since a few updates ago the nanit will lose connection and not reconnect to the breathing wear. Thankfully our LO is old enough I'm less concerned, but I think about when they were an infant and this would have made me so anxious. Due to these problems I cannot recommend the nanit for my new parent friends.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The breathing band gives me peace of mind and typically works very well. There are occasionally some issues getting the camera to read the breathing band automatically when initiating, but the manual option has solved the issue so far. I'm hesitant to put the band in the dryer after washing because the small size breathing band we used before shrank. Washing and hanging to dry worked well. Overall no major issues that can't be solved with some minor adjustments and definitely worth it to me.
Love this product! After our baby girl spent a few weeks in the NICU for breathing difficulty, it is such a relief to have this amazing technology at home keeping an extra eye on her. The band is great! Easily adjustable and nice material. Good quality.
So we love our nanit and the bands/bags except for when the camera is glitchy. Which is.. often enough. Too often for a few hundred dollar system. Some days I have to reset it multiple times and it still freezes and won't load the video feed. When it works we love the peace of mind, and how clear the picture is. It's only ever malfunctioned and had red alerts one night and once it was reset it stopped I think it was a connection issue
It should be made VERY clear that this ONLY works with the new Nanit Plus. It took me a lot of research to realize I had the older version as the two units look EXACTLY THE SAME! I purchased this item and took us a week of troubleshooting only to realize that the button we needed to click didn't exist. Why does my app have a Breathing Motion button, and provides a direct link to purchase Breathing Wear products if it will not work with my version of the camera?
Not happy with my purchase at all. I didn't even bother trying to purchase it again.
