Our dog has a fixation on licking his wounds or itchy areas to the point of making them worse and we cant get them to heal. After we sprayed his wound and he licked it twice but not excessively he calmed down and stopped licking it.If he does go to lick it we just tell him no and he stops. He wouldnt stop before this. His wound is almost healed now.
Not only does the product not stop chewing, the stupid spray bottle doesn't even work - had to transfer it to another (new, never used) spray bottle just to find out it is worthless. Will never purchase any product by this company.
I purchased the product to stop my dog from licking his paws. When I tried removing the cap it seemed stuck. I had to pry so hard the sprayer broke. I had to dig around and find another sprayer from a similar product. Once I did use the product, the dog acted like it was water. Continued licking as if nothing changed. I tried several times. Waste of money and frustrating all around. I have had success with your urine products, so I had confidence making the purchase.
This is a joke! Bought it to stop my dashound puppy from chewing. I soaked a small raw hide in it and all three of my dogs fought for the rawhide because they liked the flavor so much.
I purchased a bottle of No-Chew to deter my Cockapoo from chewing off his harness. He seemed to love the taste and did not seem to slow him down at all
Obviously does not work my dog chewed and emptied the whole bottle
I purchased this product today to deter my 4mo beagle from chewing our furniture, primarily to get him to stop chewing the strap attached to our pull-out couch, when I got home I soked the cloth strap in the product knowing he would immediately go for it, and my dog went virtually unphased by the spray. I will admit this spray is very bitter, I know I tasted it myself, and it did seem to slow him down just a bit at first but when it comes to my pups chewing it is not enough to deter him.
This product is a joke...could have gotten the same results using water. My 7 month old lab has torn up my dining room floor, baseboards and door jambs even worse using this spray.
NO-CHEW did nothing to discourage our dog's recently developed habit of self-chewing. Also, we don't understand why the front of the bottle says it's ALCOHOL-FREE, though the ingredients include isopropanol (iso-propyl ALCOHOL), most commonly known as rubbing ALCOHOL. Isopropanol is more toxic to humans and dogs than ethanol, which is the type of alcohol in alcoholic beverages. Although there's probably not enough isopropanol in NO-CHEW to be a toxicity problem, the fact that it's an ingredient is contradictory to the "ALCOHOL-FREE" labeling.
I have a Husky puppy in a wheelchair. He keeps Chewning on a plastic cap. I sprayes this on the cap and put it in his mouth, uuuum good kept chewing it. Don't waste your money.
