This is great product, my 22 months old and 5 months old have been using Halo sleep sacks since they were born. My 22 months old has been using the early-walker and she loves it. I don't have to get up in the middle of the night to make sure that she's covered, and she can walk to my room when she wakes up in the morning. My 5 months old likes to grab the blanket and covers his face to fall asleep. This helps prevent him from doing that therefore reducing SIDS. I also use the sleep sacks on them when they are just lunging around, sitting on the bouncer, or sitting in the car seat. I especially like the design where you "zip" down and not up. Great in the night when changing diaper, and they can't zip themselves off the sack. I have sleep sack from at least two other brands, and this is by far, the best.
My daughter loves to wear her sleeping coat to bed, and I love that she keeps warm at night. The foot holes in the Early Walker sleep sacks are an added bonus. Though my daughter had become quite skilled in walking in the ones without foot holes, the foot holes do make walking around easier. I only wish I could find the Early Walker sleep sacks in cotton.
I bought this sleep sack for my son because the cotton and fleece ones were too warm for the spring and summer. It feels like a mesh pair of shorts, and if just heavy enough so he doesn't get cold during his nap. It's on the bigger side, but it's supposed to be blousy so it's fine. Great product!
This is an exceptional product! Very well thought out and constructed. My little one is two now and has never slept so well now that he can get and stay warm with the sleep sack! We now have four of them!
This is a horrible product. It is only one layer of mesh jersey material, same as basket ball shorts, however, only one layer. The only thing it could be used for is a summer blanket. Even at that though, summer is hot and you would probably not want to be using a blanket so this sleepsack is pretty much worthless. I ended up returning. I was looking for a lightweight sleepsack, however this one was tissue paper thin and not useful at all.
I bought this sleep sack to keep my daughter warm at night - she kicks her blankets off. This mesh wouldn't keep anyone warm. I might try ordering again, but in fleece. Also, I bought a large. My daughter is 9 months old and is standing and pulling up. That's why I bought the one for an early walker. She would have tripped if she were in an actual sack. The large was entirely too big - double her length. She is average for a 9 month old. I returned this item.
