We were amazed at how quickly the ice maker filled up. Within 30 minutes, it was full, which is a small cooler's worth of ice cubes. Excellent option for inexpensively filling up a cooler. You definitely need a place to store the ice to keep it frozen for a long period of time. It is also pretty quiet. We noticed that id does kick a bit of heat out of the back of the unit while in use; good thing we had the A/C to counteract the heat. The ice cubes are small and hollow, easy to crush if desired.
I like this Ice-maker very much. It ‘s working really well.
I purchased this unit for our basement bar and am 100% satisfied. It's actually nicer than expected. The unit is very quiet and produces ice faster than I thought it would. I would without hesitation recommendation this product to family and friends. Keep up the good work! Aaron Marjala, Wisconsin
I absolutely love this machine! I've been using it daily for a year now and it keeps up with my excessive ice needs just as well as day one. It's easy to clean with the draining plug in the back, doesn't take up a lot of space on my counter, reliably churns out cubes, it even looks pretty stylish!
This portable ice maker is literally one of my favorites. I've used portable countertop ice makers in the past, but the AI-250W really swept me off my feet. My favorite feature about this ice maker is the amount of ice it makes within no time, which is very impressive to me.
Much bigger than my other 2 ice makers they are 28lbs. It do not hold Ice long once full melts very quickly. The add water feature light up often even when it do not seem too low. Over all very satisfied.
My husband and I have been having issues with the ice make on our fridge and finally got this counter top ice maker. Overall we are very happy with the new machine. It makes ice in minutes which is one thing we love about this machine. It's also very easy to use and although it comes with excellent instructions, they almost aren't even needed it's so simple. You simply fill the water to the fill line, turn the machine on, and in minutes you have nice cold ice. The only cons I found with this machine were I found it to be a little bulky for the amount of ice it products and I wish it kept the ice cold even after making. The ice does melt after a little bit so I suggest putting the ice in a bowl or bag and placing in the freezer. I will say that this machine does produce ice quickly enough that you shouldn't have to worry about having back up cubes in the fridge. We love this ice maker though and are very pleased with the results and ice!
I originally had an Igloo ICE1500 and loved it, but it perished. I bought this because of the large reservoir but unfortunatly the ice tray is tiny. This would be good for 1 or 2 people but it simply cannot accomodate any more than that. I returned it and got an Igloo ICE105
I purchased this because of the good reviews I had read about it. I purchased on 11/07/21 through a catalog. Since receiving this both the large and small lights light up at the same time. Lights up showing ice is full. Lights up showing needs water. There isn't any ice when all that happens. I have to restart it all the time with the hope of getting ice. Now it is making a load clicking sound. I've never been so frustrated about a product before.
Good ice maker for the fist 8 months then the scoop broke off on one side. Today 2 months later the other side broke. Now it is not usable unless you are there to move the ice out of the way. Also now not returnable. Too much money for 8 months of ice. Definitely expected more out of this ice maker.
