I picked the brand name this time because I had used a generic brand before and the patches kept comming off. Must be working because I am down to one or two cigarettes a day from about 5-7 a day before.
I have to admit I didn't think the patches would work that well. I am 30 and been smoking since I was 17. I was majorly addicted to smoking because being a stay-at-home mommy, there was plenty of stress and nothing but opportunities to smoke whenever I got the urge. But I immediately started to feel better, even with the first patch. Not to say I wasn't edgy, a little grumpy or still craving the habit....but it was really like the commercial, I thought about lighting up, but didn't NEED to. Within days I was already feeling better health wise, (I had smokers cough for a long time) and was getting way more done around the house. I could go on and on about this product and I know I sound like a paid commercial, but that's just how strongly I feel about the patch. But I do warn you have to have it in your mind that you want to quit, I don't think it will work if you are against the idea to quit. I really hated smoking but was scared to try to quit. And it's working, but I am not done with the program yet. I hope to be smoke free soon and I so thankful to Nicoderm for my soon success! I and my family thank you.
I love this product so far. I've tried to quit many times in the past and could not. Plus, I'm a stay at home mom who watches kids through the day so I was scared to try to quit due to the kids. I didn't want to go off on them. It's not their fault I smoked, I started when I was 15. I'll be 30 this year. I know I only smoked for 15 years but I didn't have the nickname smokey for no reason. I was a chain smoker in my younger years. I don't have much will power at all but this product helps take the edge away. It is giving me the self control I need to help me. My husband is using it to and works in a very hot factory and it stays on him while he sweats. Overall this product is awesome. I'm only at the end of week 2, but I have a real good feeling about this. I will say the first 2 days on it where the hardest because the habit is still there. If u try this, don't buy smokes or even have them near u. It was the only way to get me started to a healthier me. My mind is set and I need to do it!!!!! I hope u can too!!!
I have begun my journey to quit a heavy vaping addiction. I typically used a pod of 50mg salt nic per day with a hardcore addiction. Would wake up early in the mornings and have to hit first thing. Tired of being a slave. Today, 08/15/22 is my first vape free day. Put a 21mg patch on last night. Still woke up early with some cravings but not as bad as it usually is. Went to work and it was hard to focus, a bit jittery and some headaches. Know it would be a lot harder without the patch. Want to keep reaching for the vape but it's not there. I'll update on my progress.
Good patches, they definitely help with the process. But before you buy, you have to be able to say no mentally as they only really take the edge off. It's kinda like DayQuil. Will it cure your cold? No. But they do take the edge of so you can get through the day. That's what these are. Also, I recommend buying some BandAid XL Fabric to go along with them. They WILL lose their sticky very easily. Put the BandAid over it and it will actually stay on all day. It fits perfect. Hope this helps, and good luck with your journey!
I thought that I was getting a great price buying this item from Walmart, so I purchased 2 boxes to get this great price, thinking I was getting a 4 week supply. However, it was my own fault for not noticing right away that the price that I thought was a bargain, was not. It was only after purchasing them, getting them home, & using them that I realized that these boxes are only a one week supply. This made the price WAY HIGHER...So, beware!
you are supposed to use step one for around 6 weeks but it's only a week of patches for $30! Total ripoff
Absolutely awful. Im on my fourth patch and its challenging to get these to stay on even with ZERO activity. Washing and shaving the application site thoroughly not make anything better. Trash product dont waste money on this brand.
