The 4mg is for people that smoke a cigarette in the first 30 minutes of waking up. This really works to help with your craving and the flavor is great its strong but not to strong. I would highly recommend this to help you quit smoking.

I really want to like this so that it would aide me in quitting my addiction to cigarettes. I am really struggling with this product as they advise you to start upon waking instead of having a smoke. I definitely have been struggling with that. But I am hoping by using it more to help me cut back on how many i smoke instead and then hopefully quit all together. I find that the flavor is good in the beginning but it eventually tastes like i am eating out of my ashtray if kept in my mouth to long. I am going to continue to try to quit and I am interested in how others are handling the gum.
