Don't waste your money on the name brand - now it's the same gross taste as the generic. The ones that taste good indicate both Switzerland and New Jersey on the package. The new ones only say New Jersey and they taste bad, just like the generic brand.
On a positive note, I've been hooked on Nicorette lozenges for years. This new generic formula is so bad it should be easy to finally quit nicotine altogether.
The formula for nicorette mint lozenges has changed and now equals generic brands which are substandard at best. No explanation to consumers who have come to expect and pay for a superior taste and quality from nicorette. Consumers are now expected to pay nicorette prices for a generic substitution
I have purchased these lozenges for years and was so hoping the company had a dupe product on their hands. How utterly disappointing the company has indeed resorted to an offbrand, legitimate dupe. I agree with all the other reviews regarding the taste, texture, ridiculously short duration of these current lozenges. I won't return to smoking, but I am actively looking for some replacement. Why by a cheap knock-off at a premium price? Sooooooo disappointed in this company.
I thought I was sold a counterfeit product but it seems they've actually changed the product. Now these are identical to the cheaper store brands. Compared to the old, these have a different texture, taste, consistency. No reason to pay a premium for these. I'm really disappointed.
Like everyone else posting- i pay much more for name brand because the taste was by far better! If they dont change back- I will buy the cheap ones.
How is it possible that with all of these consistent complaints, GSK hasn't said a word here? I guess this was cheaper for them, so this is how it's going to be. Devastating.
Horrible. Mushy and tasteless. We know this is the generic version. Change the formula back or we have no reason to buy the more expensive option.
I cannot open the containers! It took me about an hour to open the container the lozenges come in. Change your packaging for goodness sake, people literally cannot open it up!
I agree with B. Walls. It was such a great lozenge until they changed the ingredients. I feel like I have a slimey slug in my mouth. I will pay the current price for the Nicorette Lozenges if they revert back, but if this continues, I will switch to the cheaper brand to get the same slimey feeling in my mouth.
