I had purchased another brand of Cup to work on transitioning from a bottle to a cup. My daughter wanted nothing to do with transitioning! I decided I would try another cup and purchased this Nuk cup. My daughter loved it! She transitioned from her bottles to this cup in 1 day!
My Review for NUK® Large Learner Cup- Grandson absolutely lives this - I've bought just about every style sippy and this is the one he handles very well! However I need a ring where the nipple goes into - cannot find a replacement for this!
I transitioned my 4 1/2 month old to this cup because it so much like a bottle, has a soft nipple, handles and holds 10 oz for the growing infant! He holds it by himself with ease and had zero nipple confusion transitioning from his bottles. A lot of sippy cups leak ..as I learned with our now 2 year old, but this cup DOES NOT LEAK!! I love how simple the components are to clean- there aren't any weird crevices to clean. The handle moves when you tighten the top on, BUT unlike other cups, the handle adjusts after the top is tightened to align evenly for baby to hold while feeding. Love this cup!
We bought this as it was recommended to be a great transition cup for bottle weaning, and it hasn't let us down. I wasn't a huge fan of the photo on the website (the cup with the frog on it), but the one we received was hot pink, yellow, and teal with a jungle scene - super cute! Also like that the handle is removable. My daughter loves this cup!
I have been a nuk user since my oldest (14) was a baby. Those who are complaining about the soft spout braking is either shoving the brush into it and ripping it or their little one has chewed it. When mine started chewing them and ripping them I would have them watch me throw it away and told them that they broke it and switched to Nuks hard spouts. We are a nuk family here, love them.
We had bought about 14 different sippy / transition cups for one my little girl since she was 6 months old (she's 10 months now) and we were having a rough time finding one she would take instead of a bottle. When we bought this transition cup she took to it right away with no problems and never went back to a bottle! We also purchased the 4 oz cups for juice and water. (She drinks 6oz of milk). I only wish the 4oz cups would have been a little bigger since my little girl tends to holds those better, but still overall the best sippy / transition cup by far!
My son is 8 months old and has PMG. Because is the PMG he has very low muscle tone. I also brestfeed. I did a lot of research about sippy cups and everyone just kept on saying this was THE CUP to get. And my son was able to grab it without any problems and was able to drink out of it just like his bottles but with handles. I also love that he can stop drinking ( sucking ) just to let him self to breath with out the drink still coming out just like a bottle. This is one that we are not going to Chang and look for somthing better. That is why we got 2 of them.
I see a lot of reviews of the spouts not having a hole. Ours did, and as I was cleaning it out with a bottle nipple cleaner, it punctured right through the top. At first I thought it was just one of those designs like a straw holder, until I was inspecting it and found that it was indeed broken. I didn't put much pressure on it, in fact, I used less pressure than my son would have biting it. I'm just glad that I broke it and not him, he could've swallowed the part that broke off. I would suggest buying a hard spout instead. I just wish they offered a hard spout replacement for these.
My son loves these sippy cups. My son has 2 of thes cups and they are the only ones he wants to use. The only issue I have with the cups is that we have had them for about 2 weeks and the nipple broke ope and now the cups leak.
Really upset because I was expecting a yellow learner cup as the picture is showed and I got a pink one! I want agender neutral if there more then one Colour they should really have the abitly to pick
