This is one of my top three breakfasts. The granola cereal is another and the third one you discontinued and that was the blueberry oatmeal bake. It was so good I had to invent my own version that I bake each week. I made sure it was high fiber and protein with low sugar. My recipe is 151 calories as well.
One of the main reasons I like this is because I can cook it myself and tweak it. I usually add 4 T of water instead of 3 and I add 1 large egg to the mix because I am supposed to have an extra PF with breakfast. I makes 4 or 5 pancakes that are 3 to 4 inches each. I top it off with a little butter spray and some sugar free pancake syrup at only 15 calories for 1/4 cup (I do about half that amount).
This is one of my favorite breakfasts, I cut it up into small pieces and heat in Microwave and then with the syrup I do not put it on the pancaked for it gets soggy, I put the syrup in a small cup and with each bite of pancake I dip it into the syrup.
overall Homestyle Pancakes took me back when school had pancakes for breakfast. Quite delicious w/ syrup. For any Nutrisystem its a hit or a miss. You either like it or not. The only way you will find out is if you try it yourself. If you do not end up liking it. Then don't get it anymore. * Remember everyone has different taste buds*
Excellent pancakes, nutritious & delicious. I eat mine with fruit syrup I make by simmering fresh fruit of choice in water until the consistency of syrup. I don't add sugar, not as sweet as syrup, but enough to feel like the real thing except completely healthy!
I almost had to fight my CEO for these pancakes! They have an amazing syrrupy smell (comes with syrrup baked in). I add a little smear of RXBAR's Vanilla Almond butter for an extra PF to this and absolutely LOVE them! Little sweet breakfast taco goodness!
I've tried frozen pancakes from the store and like other frozen nuttisystems meals I don't know how you do it. The all turn out like they we not frozen. Love these pancakes (like the waffles) served with peanut butter and if you can bananas and sugar free syrup. I once got 3 pancakes in the package instead of the normal 2....figured it was an award and ate all 3:)
I cook an egg in my dash egg cooker, toast the pancakes, slice some zucchini and make a sandwich out of it - love it!
DO NOT BUY! WALMART ADVERTISES 10 COUNT
Although the pancakes are very tasty, the last two deliveries have arrived with the packages open in the back. I did get replacements at no charge, but I feel that it such a waste to send two small packages in a large styrofoam cooler when I asked for a refund or just add to next months order.
