I just sprayed it on my plants. I am probably going top have to spray it again because it is 50 degrees right now .
This winter the deer have just about ruined all kinds of shrubs around my property. Many years I had no problem but this year they seemed to love every plant. By using Ortho Deer-B-Gone they have stopped visiting. Hopefully, they have not destroyed the shrubs and I will have blooms this spring and summer. Highly recommend the product.

Product does not deter rabbits. In fact, they seem to like it. Part of problem may be storage in hot garden area at Walmart. This is 1st Ortho product I haven't liked.
