I got the product within 24 hours. The clerk at the counter was courteous and very efficient. I will strongly recommend the service.
I was pleased that everything in this kit fit a 4 year old blender. The base had cracked, and the new base (that holds the blade) fit fine. Just be sure everything is thoroughly cleaned before you put it on so it will fit properly. I am very pleased with this purchase.
My harvest gold and avocado green Oster Kitchen Center is over 40 years old. It has been a wonderful, versatile appliance (2 mixing bowls, 2 bread and 2 regular beaters, meat grinder, juicer, and blender), with a powerful motor, that continues to function perfectly. Naturally due to age, the rubber seal beneath the blender wore out. I recently tried to make smoothies, and liquid began to leak from the bottom of the blender. I seriously considered investing in a new, up-to-date blender for the purpose and sadly taking the entire Kitchen Center unit to Goodwill. Hubby felt he could find replacement parts. We ordered them from Walmart in the morning (in a small town) and the parts were ready for pickup that afternoon! Amazing. The repair clearly fixed the problem and I now have a brand new appliance! I love having fresh, new, sharp blades. I did not really need the new round lid, as my blender is an old square shape. The kit contains two rubber seals, so have a spare "tucked away" to be used in the future.....(if I need it and can remember where I put it!!)
I was initially looking for the black base replacement due to mine previous one being cracked. I was not certain whether I needed a product number, was the part going to correctly fit, was the entire process would become more of a hassle than buying a new Oster blender with a metal base cap. Well the kit purchased through Walmart not only had the base, but 2 sealing gaskets 'rings', new blade(s) attachment, new cover and clear cap. Being a relative neat freak I did not realize how worn and 'grubby' my clear cap was until I compared the new to the old - Wow! Now my Oster blender with its new attachments, tight seals and existing strong motor will continue to crank out the fruit smoothies, workout shakes, pureed soups, sauces and the occasional homemade pesto sauce with ease. The price was great for all you get making the purchase a no-brainer.
The blender looks new again and I'm so happy to know every part of it (except for the glass vase and the machine base) is brand new. Ordered online for store pick up, took a couple of weeks (I understand by reading other reviews it's not easy to find it in every store) but was notified by text and email it was ready to pick up. It took me 5 minutes to arrive to customer service and for the attendant to give me the product and receipt (it was a different line from the returns/exchanges one) so I did not have to wait in line. Great set, and I think it's a very good price. Yes, I recommend this replacement pack if your blender has started leaking when you leave some liquid in it for a while.
I debated over just buying a new blender to replace my11+ year old model. But I still like a lot of the features, for example the glass jar and the left-handed measurements. The base and rubber washer had worn down, and the blades weren't sharp enough. This seemed to be the solution. The good: The blade and washer are great, plus there is a spare washer. The bad: The base, though it screws on and fits the jar, does not sit securely on the motor. It feels like it might tip or that it's not inserted correctly. It does work, but I wonder if this part will wear down or crack soon. More bad: The lid does not fit at all, it's way too large. But I didn't need a new lid, so, this is not an issue for me. I'm still glad I purchased this, and before it breaks down all-together, I'll do some research and be ready to purchase my next model.
A bit of overkill since all these parts don't wear out at once. However it makes sense as preventative maintenance since it's probably not economic to buy just one of these parts.
I was glad I could get the part I needed and not have to replace the entire blender. I wish I could have just bought the one piece tough.
Bought this kit twice now, one full kit as shown hear, and another purchase of just the bottom part that screws on. Both have cracked within a few months, as well as the top center cup That fits the lid I did not over tighten the bottom part that fits my container I have an osterizer that I purchased 20 years ago, and still going strong. Wish I would have kept the original part that came with the blender. I bought a new one thinking it would be better, and tossed the original that it came wit, as it looked dull and worn. These bottom caps are no way even close to what once was. They are rigid thin plastic, and they crack. My daughter had the same problem. Save your money. These parts are all over the Internet, Amazon, etc. probably made somewhere in China. This is not an original zoster part.
This was to replace the bottom jar screw on black plastic ring that had cracked. This one cracked also only after a few uses. Poor design. Going to buy a different blender.
