Panasonic is a very good phone. These little handheld phones are very good even if they are a landline. You can't pick it up and take it out of your house but it's still a very good phone to use at home. I'm in an independent living facility, and we have to have a landline to report to the front desk each morning. It's a very good phone and you can hear really good on it. It has a clear tone there's no static it's very clear.
The best thing about this product is that the handsets function as portable Caller ID units. We get several telemarketing calls every day, plus an occasional scam, which we can blithely ignore (such as "Your Amazon Credit Card was charged $429 dollars; press 1 to speak to customer service" or "Your Social Security benefits are about to expire. Please press 1 to speak to an operator!") The system can be used with wired phones; however, if you pick up a call with a wired phone, the wireless phone will say that you missed the call. A nice feature that's not mentioned above is that it can be set to suppress the first ring. This is meant to be part of the system's call block feature, but it also works well with our external Nomorobo service, which hangs up blocked calls after one ring. One thing to be aware of is that the base unit should be plugged into an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to maintain phone service even during a power outage. One thing that's lacking is at least one holster for the handheld units -- they either fall out of the pocket of everything I wear or the buttons get pressed (I don't have speed dial set up for that reason). But they certainly are durable -- I've dropped them about a dozen times, even a few times on the concrete basement floor. LOL
I really like this phone. Easy to use, and the owners manual is really very useful and helpful with set up of features of the phone and the answering machine.

On my phone list, I put ex: Jane Doe in the phone directory but when I receive a call from Jane Doe the phone message says Doe, Jane. I don't know how to fix it. Naturally, I have to get used to it and work out all the kinks. My friends like it because they can actually hear me. I have only had it a few weeks. So far, no other problems. Just got to get used to it.
I have just renovated to an all white kitchen.. I have all white appliances. This was the first phone that I have seen to match my kitchen. It LOOKS ALL WHITE in the picture, but it isnt! The sides are silver.. The buttons are silver.. I am really disappointed. The phone works fine, but I dont like the silver. Am I being picky,, well when you buy something that shows a color but doesnt specify the other colors in the ad then you kinda get a bit miffed..
Wanted it because it was in white but not as good as the A T %26 T with Smart Call Blocker. If it is your first phone it would be just fine.
The phones seem to be working well. The set up went well, instructions are clear. I am extremely frustrated to learn that I must pay to use the consumer support website - first month $1 - then about $68 a month thereafter - can't even register phone without signing in to this - as I understand it!! Due to pandemic, I am not going into stores - instead shopping online. Would not have purchased phone had I realized this earlier!! EJ EJ
You dou bled the order I only needed 1 phone set?.. I will return 1 set of phones. Im disabled and you have made it very hard on me to return the extra set of phones. Thanks alot!! Gary
At all cost do not use I save by wall mart OR wallmart. Purchase 3 panasonic phones ALL of which had defective chargers, I Save Customer Service , did nothing said call panasonic....DO NOT USE
