This brand is usually more expensive, this is the only raisin bread my mom will eat. Honestly i can't tell the difference but i like the price. Its very dense, i toast it and add butter, sometimes make french toast with it
Delicious!!! Does not need butter. Cinnamon Raisin bread is my frequently eaten staple. I love both cinnamon and raisins. This Pepperidge Farm brand is the best I have ever tasted. So good just barely lightly toasted. This bread is actually sweeter and better tasting than many pastries due to the many raisins. It is perfect for a light breakfast wirh a cup of tea or coffee. I mostly eat it for a night-time snack with a mug of tea. The cinnamon smells so good heated %26 is so soothing that it is the only thing I feel like eating when I am ill
My husband eats cinnamon raisin toast almost every morning with his eggs. I have been buying Pepperidge Farm for a while, but I decided to try Thomas's brand last week. My husband asked me if I had switched brands, and told me that what I usually buy is much better (Pepperidge Farm). I also noticed that the Pepperidge Farm brand is more moist and soft.
swirl cinn raisin always ...to dense and amost as if stale. But nuke it for 8 seconds and its great. makes great toast. on my shop list ever shopping day. The biggest reason I like this... it satisfied my sweet tooth For bakery items like donuts... seriously...call me crazy. lol

this has been my go-to raisin bread for a very long time mostly because of how moist the bread is. Sunmaid and Thomas's has always been horribly dry to me. These last two loaves of Pepperidge Farms Raisin Bread I got from my curbside order were just like the other brands. the size ir shape if the loaf is likely the cause. it's never been this tall before, always more square shaped than rectangular. i had to adjust my toaster settings because I kept burning my raisin toast, it was so dry. so disappointed.
In one SINGLE bag, I had half gallon milk; 15oz buttery spread; 2-24oz cottage cheese; 3-8oztub strawberry cream cheese; 8oz cheddar cheese; and8oz mozzarella cheese. OVERLOAD!
For many years our family has loved many of Pepperidge Farm products. I don't know what happened to the Raisin Cinnamon Swirl Breakfast Bread I received. It was not close to or out of date. It's texture was as dry as the Sahara Desert and quite bland tasting. Everyone who tried bread from the loaf was very disappointed with this product. This bread isn't cheap. Sorry Pepperidge Farm but I only write honest reviews.
I've been buying this raisin bread for years. Literally it's been my favorite breakfast toast for many years. Most of the time, the quality has been above par. Once in a while you do get one with a burnt bottom. So always check the bottom before you buy one. Recently though, I came across a batch that had blonde hairs stuck to the bottom of the bread. When I pulled it out of the bag, there were short thin blonde hairs. I have determined this to be animal fur. So the quality is slipping. If they can correct these problems, I may continue to buy the bread in the future. For now though, I'll switch brands…
