all was great on time good tracking excellant condion new
I use the shaver on my head. I had bought several of the $20 china-special shavers over the years. Each lasted about a year. Fed up, I decided to buy a branded shaver. The Philips Noreleco Shaver 1100 is better in every way than any of my past experiences! The shaver cuts closer. It's a more comfortable shave. It shaves faster, so I am done more quickly. I highly recommend the Philips Norelco Shaver 1100.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I get a clean, quick shave.I plan on using it when overseas. No batteries should clear customs. Very satisfied.
the Norleco 1100 Is Very Efficient ,, so I Bought 2 😊👍
Works well. Close, comfortable shave. Had cordless version previously but it wore out. This was cheaper option.
The only corded shaver I ever use. Batteries can't have the power suitable for many men. I have a $300 Norelco, but use this $30 corded. New Philipps shaver for price of heads every time. PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE.
This has been the best electric shaver that I ever had. I shaves closer than the other four that I threw away. I was also looking for a corded razor.
I bought this shaver because my other one which was at least 10yr old finally decide to go bye bye. the battery inside died, no shame after 10yr. decided on plug in type and it is working GREAT
Most of us I believe always have a plug available when we shave and so saving money on not having the rechargeable battery is a plus. I believe it shaves as well as all the other Norelcos. And since the replacement blades are only 5$ less than this shaver you really can't go wrong with this model. From a standpoint of conserving resources, not including or having to replace rechargeable batteries is a plus. But the one negative is that you might have to throw out the unit and its small amount of slightly valuable copper wire in the motor in a short period of time. This is my third purchase of this model as the first two lasted only about 3 years. I am hoping I can get this one to last longer by doing a couple things differently: 1) The manual says to wash it under the faucet after each use and acknowledges that water will get into the unit. Contrary to what the manual said I did find water damage in my last unit when it went kaput. So now I am going to wash the blades in water but not let any get into the main body. 2) I used to turn it on and off by plugging it in and unplugging it. I suspect switch failed on the first one. I see now that the manual says to turn it off with the button before unplugging it, so I am going to do that too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacement cutting heads are expensive. Because it's an electric shaver you don't have to rely on a charged battery to shave.
