[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After purchasing this Philips Norelco 5400 (s5880/81)series shaver (which I love), I found out that it is compatible with the cleaning pod (sold separately). I picked up the cleaning pod as soon as I found this out. I appreciate the ease of daily cleaning that the pod offers. In addition I picked up the travel case. I also love the fact that it is a wet/dry shaver. I use Edge shaving gel, which allows the shavers heads to glide over my skin, and gives me a good reasonably close shave. The battery lasts a long time, and I have only had to charge it twice since I purchased it 2 months ago. I am a fan and will definitely continue to use, and would definitely buy again :)
This shaver/trimmer is very good just fully charge it before you use. It goes all around the grooves of your face. I didn’t like however the shipping of this product to me! it arrived with a very damaged box the shipping box itself looked like it was stomped on. also the product box was opened looked like they went through it and taped it back together but everything was there. I was very disappointed at the shipping and handling method. There has been three packages that has arrived like this. But this will be my first complaint. If it continues to arrive in a very damaged horrible way I will definitely keep complaining; more like I will no longer purchase using the shipping method. ZERO STARS FOR SHIPPING.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very smooth shave, The lake of the battery lasts a long time six shaves. Easy to clean just run it under the water. I like the quick charge too 45 minutes and it's charged.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my fourth Norelco and I started using them 50 years ago. My last one just had the battery fail after 20 years and was outstanding. It was the top of the line at the time and gave me perfect close shaves. So, I bought this 5000 series and the only complaint is it does not reach under the nostrils easily, the design of the heads is a bit off. Nothing I cannot work around but my last shaver was better. Also I would prefer to charge A/C instead of USB.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like using the shaver with shaving cream and water. One of the things that I have a problem with is the housing around the round blades is kind of thick. It's hard to get close up under your nose other than that the shaver is really acceptable.
My review and the stars that I put all this only to the seller, the product itself works, I have no complaints, the packaging seems to be tight, but the product itself was in a broken package, since it was intended for a gift, the seller put me in a bad position, I had to apologize to the birthday man that the packaging is broken.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used Philips triple heads since my parents bought me one when I went into the service in 1974. Probably had 4 or 5 since then. They all worked great until this one. So I now keep 3 under my sink. I shave with the new one, re-shave with the next older one, and trim my moustache with the oldest one.
