Just what I wanted for my small veggie garden. Really well made, a little heavier then expected. Works well.
Does everything I expected it to do.
I used this couple of times. I bought this after checking reviews which gave a very positive results. Overall I am happy with this product. It is a cultivator not a tiller. Does the job of cultivator very well. I used it inside my greenhouse where it was tilled manually. It did a good job. Outside we wanted to grow lawn and again the area was tilled couple of weeks back. The cultivator was OK because it was wet and the soil was sticking to it. Good as a cultivator when the ground is semi dry
I GOT THIS FOR MY HUSBAND JUST TO MAKE DEER FEEDING PLOTS WITH ~~ YOU CANT GET BIG EQUIPMENT BACK IN THE WOODS AND I FIGURED THIS WOULD BE THE WAY TO GO SINCE EVERY YEAR WE KILL OURSELFS DOING IT BY HAND AND ALOT OF HARD LABOR !! THIS ATTACHMENT IS KINDA HEAVY ( FOR A WOMAN WALKIN UP / DOWN HILL IN THE WOODS , PROBABLY NO PROBLEM FOR A MAN ) WE TOOK TURNS WEEDEATING AND EASILY SWITCHED ATTACHMENTS TO START DIGGIN SOME GROUND , THE ONLY PROBLEM WE CAME ACROSS WAS ROCKS GETTING WEDGED BETWEEN THE BLADES AND THE GUARD SHIELD , PROBLEM WAS EASY FIXED , WE REMOVED THE BLADES AND REATTACHED THE OUTSIDE 2 BLADES MAKING MORE ROOM BETWEEN BLADES THUS NO MORE HANG UPS ! IT REALLY DOES THE JOB ! SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE ! SPREAD SOME SEEDS AND WALLA WERE DONE ! STILL ALOT OF WORK MAKIN THE PLOTS BUT IT SURE DID MAKE IT EASIER !! IM CONFIDENT THAT I WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM TAKING THIS TO MY STAND ! THIS YEAR I CAN FIX MY PLOTS ALL BY MYSELF ! ~~ PERFECT FOR THOSE PLACES THAT YOU CANT NORMALY GET OTHER EQUIPMENT TO , LUV LUV LUV IT !!! ~~
Even better than I expected. Very easy to use and does an excellent job. I haven't had it long but have used it several times.
I am a 5'4 135IB woman and I have to say, this thing was a job for me to handle. It was easy to attatch and figure out but you need some strength to handle it. I found my self exhausted quickly. I was using it to work the dirt in between my veggies in my garden and it did the trick but like I said I was only able to do a little at a time. The attatchment is much heavier than expected and it was hard to get a steady speed . I tried to use it for breaking ground on a new flower bed and it was a bit tough. Overall I am happy w/ the product and it does save a bundle vs a real tiller especially if you are only using for small jobs. Also want to add that we have mostly clay in our yard which could add to the difficulty.
I am pretty happy with this product. It tills just like the one it was replacing. The one it was replacing stripped its gears after a couple years. I was pretty rough with it. I haven't used this one enough to determine its durability, but so far so good after a month and three 15 minute light duty uses.
Easy to install. Using it with a Poulan Pro PPB335 33cc head. Won't replace a tiller, but it's not intended to. Worked well on previously broken blackland beds.
I can't believe that this product carries the Poulan name. I purchased this two weeks ago to weed between the rows in my garden. First, the cultivator was VERY cumbersome and tired me out quickly...and I consider myself stronger than average after 10 years of active duty military. Oh...the motor sounds like a chainsaw...very loud. Second, the cultivator did not spin very fast so the tines just bounced up and down on the ground instead of digging. The final straw...I used it to stir my compost pile consisting of grass clippings, leaves and last year's soil from containers. The cultivator couldn't turn the grass clippings; they just bound up in the tines causing it to strip the driveshaft.
I tried this attachment to clean up the rows in our garden. Worked great for about 20 minutes. Rotator rod broke off inside the gearbox. No idea why. Product worked terrific when it was working.
