It is one of the highly priced over the counter ointments, creams, or drinks. Hope I never need it again.
If I forget to take this in the afternoon I can really tell! It works precisely the way it promises.
This is the second box ive purchased and am very pleased with this. It definitely helps me with heartburn and does last 24 hours. Easy to take as well, small pills.
I love avoiding the people of Walmart and just picking up my stuff!! so much easier to shop from the couch. Shoppers always do a great job people delivering groceries to the car are always polite, courteous

I switched from my Rx acid reducer to Prilosec which I like much better AND I have been able to cut the tablets in half and take 20 mg instead of the regular 40 mg. Works fine!
I used tums regularly and still had heartburn. I took two courses of Prilosec and finally got relief. It has reduced stomach acid and I am able to eat all foods again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having the stomach of a goat, I very rarely suffer from heartburn, so I gave my sample of Prilosec OTC to a patient who cannot be leaned back too far during dental treatments and exhibits enamel erosion due to acid reflux, yet is too stubborn to seek medical attention. His wife called me about a week later to thank me. It seems when her man-baby is uncomfortable, the whole family is uncomfortable. When he returned for his follow up appointment three weeks later, he hugged me. We were able to lean him back until the change fell out of his pockets. Prilosec OTC is taken once a day for a 14 day course. It is not a product to take for immediate treatment of heartburn. The insert on the box states it takes at least a day to 4 days to reach its full effect. Our patient felt relief of his symptoms within two hours of initial dosage, and was enjoying being symptom free a week after his last dose. Your mileage may vary in terms of relief and how long the relief lasts. It is a tiny coated pill, like a flattened allergy medication and easy to swallow. It is also available in wild berry flavor. Did Prilosec OTC save my patient's marriage? It is a distinct possibility. It most definitely alleviated his symptoms and I would not hesitate to recommend it to those suffering frequent heartburn.
Love Prilosec how it quickly it relieves my heartburn and acid reflux. Try it you will not be disappointed. Buy the 28 or 42 ct. to get more bang for your buck. Great to keep on hand for those times when you need alittle help.
This I use for Heartburn. First time using it, I'm going to see if it works as well as one of it's competition Meds.
