I got this about a year ago and it still works like it's brand new. Cold water comes out ice cold, and hot water comes out just shy of boiling. It survived a move with no issues. Just invested in a couple no-drip caps for the bottles because I'm sometimes clumsy and spill a little. I will be investing in a bottom flow one in the future, but probably not anytime really soon since this one is doing just fine. Definately recomend the no-spill lids. When I first got it, the temperature control needed about 24 to really kick on, but after that we were set with clean cold water!
When I received this product, it was simple to set up. I have a 5 year old granddaughter and in the back, the HOT water side could be turned off. This was a big selling point for me.
this a very nice cooler works great good price too gets cold fast and a good quick water flow.
It's quiet, works as it should, price is right. I also absolutely love how the push buttons are way at the top, good safety feature if you have small children or cats lol.
I don't know why I didn't buy one sooner. It was easy to set up and works great. We are drinking more water than ever. At least 5 gallons a week which is only $1.28 per 5 gal after purchase of the bottle. We have ice cold water and piping hot water for tea, hot chocolate, cup o soup, etc. the hot water has a safety button that has to be pushed so you don't have to worry about little hands. I really don't know how I managed this long without it. The price was great too.
Love this primo water cool, then I ordered,a penguin cover for it
The Primo Top Load Hot/Cold water dispenser works well for my family. Unfortunately you cannot use refillable water bottles because the way it is designed. The dispenser pierces the cap of the bottle which makes it much more expensive than just refilling ($5.99+deposit&tax vs. $1.79+tax at my local supermarket). However it serves it's purpose, I need to clean it after every 5 gallons because water gets trapped and gets grimy. The Hot function has a security lock on it that I love because I have little ones. It comes with a spacer to keep it a certain distance from the wall. I have noticed if the dispenser gets bumped a little bit, it will become somewhat loud... however all you need to do is make sure it's flat on the ground and it eliminates the noise. Instant Hot/Cold is a luxury when you have a busy lifestyle. All in all, the dispenser works great, i'm happy with it... just wish you could use refillable bottles with it to eliminate the excess cost.
Small but works pretty well. The dispenser buttons feel cheap and poorly made, so hoping they don't break. It's not quiet and hums a lot when heating or cooling water, but otherwise seems pretty good.
The thing that pierces the cap broke off on the 2 bottle change. That was fine, I could still maneuver it. Everything was fine after that for the next 20 months, cold water was cold, hot was hot... Yesterday it started leaking from 2 separate spots... 2.5 gallons of water leaked onto my wood floors. Glad I was home to catch it. Would not recommend this one to anyone, I am, however taking recommendations for a new one.
Not happy at all. I am shocked at how loud this product is. I had one similar to it for a couple years before I got this one and this makes a loud humming noise most of the time. I have had it set up for about 30 hours and it has already started to intermittently drip water out of the faucet. I gave it 2 stars because the water is very cold and very hot.
