My kids love pizza, so I have been trying to make pizza at home to be a little healthier. Most of the canned sauces in the store have a canned "tomato paste" taste and don't come anywhere near pizzeria sauce. This Ragú Margherita sauce tasted like sweet, fresh crushed tomatoes and fresh herbs. The color was a light red instead of the dark "tomato paste red" of other sauces. The sauce shined through and complemented the pizza the way a good sauce should. We will be purchasing again!
I was aware of Ragu prior to recieving this sample. I was not aware of RAGÚ Margherita Premium Pizza Sauce, Also I was not able to find that flavor. However I was able to get the Ragu with Tomato onion and garlic and I love the flavors incorporated in this sauce. If you haven't tried Ragu, you need to you are missing out on great flavor and a simple family meal!!
The Ragú sauce available for us was the Ragú Simply Marinara sauce (our loca stores aren't great with keeping products stocked). This sauce is perfect for whole and clean eating on a budget and for quick meals. The whole jar was used with some meatballs and spaghetti squash peroxiding a delicious spaghetti sauce without all of the unnecessary added fillers. Delicious and fresh tasting. We will definitely use this again.

RAGU Margherita Premium Pizza Sauce was a hit at our family pizza night with 19 family members. Everyone loved it....kids started eating the sauce right out of the jars instead of putting the sauce on the pizza dough. Our pizzas were delicious...the RAGU Margherita Premium Pizza Sauce really elevated our pizzas. Some adults thought the sauce could have had a little more garlic in it.
The RAGU Margherita Premium Pizza Sauce was good. Much thinner than regular pizza sauce. It has chunks of tomato which made it seem much more fresh. It was different, but good. Not sure it would be my number one pick for pizza, but could possible purchase in the future. I may try the sauce on spaghetti.

Has that preservative taste like chef boyardee yuck there is much better pizza sauce out there great value is way better than this stuff its totally gross
