The item simply doesn't work. Regardless of where it's located, it doesn't pick up television stations.
We live in the suburbs close to several major TV broadcasters but still could only occasionally get 3 channels to be found (often it was none). We followed the instructions and put the antennae near a window on several different levels of the house but to no avail. It could be a great TV but if it gets no reception, doesn't do any good.
