I really do like this product...it leaves your hair shiny and feeling great, not dry....it is really fast and easy to use...I would recommend this product to anyone who is tired of drying out their hair with a curling iron....It is great!
I love the rollers...they heat up fast and the curls are perfect! For african american users please use wrap lotion to roll your curls. They will set just like the salon!
I love this product. It has built in clips plus a plastic clip to use with it, instead of the metal ones...A plus
This product is a basic set of hot rollers. The little clamps are a bit difficult to manipulate, but the unit heats quickly and once you get the rollers to stay they curl your hair efficiently. It would be nice if there was a storage tray or bag or something for the clamps... they're on a cardboard card and once you use them they're loose... I stuffed them in a ziploc bag, but there's no place to put them in the unit so a good risk of being lost.
I really like the the curl that these produce! My only issues are: There is no way of telling when they are heated! The clips are not as great as one would think! Otherwise they are pretty cool and I get great results!
I love the fact the rollers heat fast and curls the hair very well, but after awhile, the feature that sold me, the quick set clips, will eventually fall and break off. This is without rough handling. After several months, they will fall off one by one. What a bummer. I will recommend only based on the efficiency of the heating of the roller and the curling effect.
I found this product easy to use, the clips were especially nice. However, I think that the rollers at best, just got warm. Not enough heat to make the curls last. This set would be perfect if it used steam instead of dry heat.
I was looking forward to using this product to do my hair for a special occasion so i tried it out the night before. I was completely unsatisfied with this product. Sure the price wasn't bad and it being Remington I thought I hit the jackpot but i was truely mistaken. I hav thick med length hair and it was hard to keep the clips in they kept falling out what would have taken 10 minutes to set took me over 45 minutes. They didn't get as hot as needed and my hair fell flat in minutes. I'm bringing it back asap and just buying a larger curling iron
I've been looking for a replacement for my old hot rollers for months now & these were AWFUL. I was turned off of these immediately. As soon as I plugged them in, they STUNK...like burning plastic. I kept checking the inside of the machine & around it making sure nothing was touching it. It was so bad, I had to leave the room. The clips on these rollers sounded promising but ending up being a big pain. For one thing, the clip was not long enough to keep any hair on the roller unless you rolled tiny sections on one end of the roller. The clips that came with them were ok, but rather tight to pinch together. I couldn't use them with the arthritis in my hand. And even after being plugged in for 10 minutes, they never got more than warm. Stay far away from these is my best advice.
The box states the clips hold curlers in place. However, when I used them, they didn't even stay close to where I cliped them. They slid down leaving a terrible result. Will never purchase again.
