I've had mine for almost 2 years, and although it's recommended the shaver head be replaced annually, mine gave me a close shave for considerably longer than that. It's just as good as other brands I've owned in the past, for less money.
Having used foil shavers for many years (mostly Remington) I am very impressed with the SR9130 Super Rotary Counter Rotating Shaver! Gives a great shave, is very quiet and is easy to clean! Took a little getting used to circular shaving action - but after about a week developing the right technique I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Would recommend to anyone.
Glad I got the new rotary head for my shaver. Once I put it in it's like getting a new shaver. Quiet, smooth and a third the cost of a new shaver. Totally worth the cost.
Most excellent. Easy task to do and you can tell the positive difference between old and new. Strongly recommend.
SP-9100: Head and Cutter assembly for Remington® SR 9130 360 Pivot & Flex Rotary shavers Installing this cutter head has made an excellent change in my daily shaving. The old cutter head was leaving a stubble ( not cutting close). The time for shaving was cut to about one-tenth the time using the old head and cutter. Very glad I ordered a new head and cutter.
Very happy overall with my new Remington Shaver. I get a really close shave without any redness or irritation. Not sure about durability though; every time I open the head to clean it out one of the springs which help rotate the cutting heads pops off.
Replacing the head on my SR9130 makes it perform like new. As soon as I feel the slightest bit of drag, I replace the head and viola, a new shaver.
The shaver itself is great. I get a very good shave all the time. However, the shaver head is poorly designed and breaks easliy so I have to be very dareful not to tap it too hard to dislodge shavings. I am now on my third head.
The SR9130 shaves better than any other Remington I've owned. However, the design of the little hinge that holds the shaver head to the body is poorly designed. It is quite easy for the spring hinge to come out of or actually break the slots in the shaver head it goes into. Once this happens, your shaver becomes a paperweight. I've had this happen twice in the two years I've owned the shaver, necessitating a buying a replacement each time. Since the head costs 50% as much as the whole (now discontinued) shaver did, this is not a particularly good value. Since the SR9130 can only use this head, I have to reluctantly recommend it, because your only other choice is to pay for another complete shaver, which is essentially what you're going to be forking out anyway, and it may not shave as well.
It is not what I expect from it. When I saw the advertaising I tought that it will give me a very close sahve as it has doble action but it does not I have po pass it over and over and still dont cut the short hair and star irritating the skin.I am disapointed with it. I have previus remintong shaver and aslo norelco that works better however they are old models and new to replace then.
