Really does feel like butter on your lips.
This lip butter goes on nice and smooth. It's very creamy. Also, it does a great job at moisturizing your lips, and gives it a nice perky shine. It stays true to its color
I have been using similar products for years- i.e. chapstick-like products that moisturize while depositing enough color to substitute for lipstick. Until I tried this, my favorite was Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer. This is much more moisturizing than the lip shimmers, but doesn't give quite as much color, although they are fairly close. The lip butters also have a lot more color selection. To give you a better idea of how much color they put on your lips, I would say they are a little more sheer than lipstick (the lighter colors seem more sheer than the darker ones) but are not as sheer as most tinted lip balms. So if you only want a barely noticeable amount of color, these are not what you're looking for. Burt's Bees are natural and do not have artificial colors, so they are good for people who prefer to use less of those things and they are a bit cheaper. They are also smaller, which makes them somewhat better in a pocket or small purse, but perhaps not as good in terms of quantity for the money. Overall, I prefer the Revlon Lip Butters and have already bought a second one, mainly because they are incredibly moisturizing, have a better color selection, and look a lot like lipstick. Although I will not totally abandon Burt's bees, these definitely give them a run for their money.
I love the revlon lip butter.I have candy apple and its just a beautiful shade. It is very pigmented. They last for quite awhile.I just love using it every day. They don't have any taste and it smells like candy, well that's what i think. The down side is that I feel like they aren't very moisturizing and when you roll it down it smushes on the side. But rather than that they are great.
Beautiful sheer shades~very flattering & easy to wear~stays put! No glitter there for me, I would call it a soft shimmer. Highly recommended, love that you don't have to worry that the shades will be to dark. Will buy more in all shades....that's how much I love it!
I purchased this in the shade Figjam. Don't let the color fool you. It may appear a very deep brown, but the color comes out nicely on the lips. It looks somewhat as a mahogany/dark red. My sister has a deeper skin tone than me; thus her lips are brownish, but it looks good on her too. A cute color for the fall season!
This was my first time trying the Revlon lip butters n I rly liked the color n it was very moisturizing n will b buying more of them
The color is bright, it's not TOO MUCH, too out there. It is not ultra smooth, you can feel the tiny specks of glitter when you apply it and when you wear it. I usually apply a bit of balm or gloss on top after application for more shine.
I like this lip butter. It is creamier than most lipsticks, but I do think it is a little pricey.
Goes on smoothly, but for some shades you need to apply a few times to successfully deposit color because the colors aren't too pigmented. Moisturizes lips and lasts only an hour.
