I recieved the Roc Retinol Correxion Anti Aging Skin Night Cream to review.I liked it because it balanced out my skin tone and it went on silky smooth.You apply the skin cream to a clean face at night and you will notice a difference in the morning.You skin will feel smoother and tighter.I liked the no drip tube and the light fragrance.You will have softer younger looking skin. I recommend it highly. I think it is a good quality sensitive skin cream that really works. It is a good value for the price.
I love this product and feel good using it knowing it's been created by the Roc brand which specializes in skin care to combat the aging process. Being 54 years old I need to address those skin issues affecting my appearance. Living with limited funds I simply don't have excess money to pay for a dermatologist or expensive prescription lotions. This line fits in my budget and is proven to work which makes me happy. I know Roc products have a great reputation and I love their slogan, " We Keep our Promises". This formula contains retinol which is proven to reduce lines and wrinkles. It is the same drug used by dermatologists but in a lesser strength and a very lower cost. It simply takes a little longer to see the results. The average time is 12 weeks so I'm optimistically waiting. The creamy lotion is lightly scented and easy to apply. I apply it after I shower at night and a little goes a long way. It is not greasy and it absorbs quickly. I just started using it so I don't know whether it's working on my lines and wrinkles yet. I do know in just the use of it leaves my skin soft and smooth. This product is for sensitive skin which means it is a milder strength of retinol. This is perfect for first time retinol users as it has little to no irritation. If irritation does occur simply skip a day of use to let your skin calm down. Personally, I did feel a little tingling but no irritation.
I use this along with the Roc Sensitive eye cream. I love this product. I feel such a smooth difference on my skin. Like silk. No redness or burning. Nice smell. Only a small amount is needed. Fine lines really do diminish after just a week. I've just started my second week and I love the way my skin feels and looks.
Finally I found a retinol anti aging night cream that didn't hurt my sensitive skin! I have very sensitive skin and the couple of retinol creams I've tried either turn my face beet red or they cause a stinging sensation. The smell is very light too.ROC product's are great!
I am a huge fan of Roc products and I believe I have found my new anti aging night cream with Roc Retinol Correxion Sensitive Night Cream. I like the tube it comes in as the product is secured where light will not penetrate it so no worries since retinoids are sensitive to light, heat and oxygen therefore the product is well protected in this tube. I have been using this Roc anti aging cream for a week and I have not experienced any negative issues at all. I use three to four small squeezes from the tube for my face and neck. It has a lovely faint clean fresh scent and the texture is creamy so it easily glides on. As with all retinol products use a SPF 15 or more over the cream during the day. I always use SPF 30 just so I have more protection. I have noticed my skin softer and thicker which is absolutely wonderful so I will continue to use it nightly. I am very pleased with the positive results from Roc products and I will continue to purchase them as part of my anti aging routine.
I have never used retinol in any product before and so glad I had the opportunity to try this cream! My Roc Retinol Correxion Anti-Aging Sensitive Skin Night Cream arrived in an attractive 1 oz. tube. The tube actually looks a bit larger than 1 oz. to me, but it reads: “1 oz.” There is quite a bit of information on the outside of the box and the tube itself. This night cream was designed for people with sensitive skin and retinol beginners like me and if you experience any redness, the directions say to wait a day or two, then resume to build up your exposure. There are so many retinol products out there and as a first-time retinol user, I was so happy that I picked the right retinol product to try. I applied it to my face and neck every night as directed and did not experience any redness. It is a light, oil free cream and spreads on easy and does not clog pores. A little goes a long way. The cream contains not only the small amount of Retinol, but also Hyaluronic Acid, which helps bind the essential moisture in your skin to hydrate and re-plum wrinkles. The cream is very smooth! It makes my face feel so soft and I think I can already see improvement in my skin tone and possibly some fine lines. The box indicates that after 8 weeks, 95% of women show improvement in the look of deep wrinkles or fine lines. The directions say you can use the cream alone or under another moisturizer, but I think the Roc Retinol Correxion cream is a great moisturizer in itself and don't know why anyone would need additional moisturizing. I gave this cream 5 stars because it is perfect for me, a retinol beginner. I feel like I can see a slight change in my skin tone and am excited to continue using it for continued improvement in my facial skin!
At 59, I've got my share of wrinkles, but I've only tried one Retinol product and gave up when it irritated my skin so badly I thought I would have to stick my face in a bucket of ice for a week. So when I saw this product for those of us with "sensitive" skin, I jumped on it. I only used a tiny bit, maybe half of a pea, near the corner of each side of my mouth the first day -- I was terrified -- just to make sure it wouldn't irritate me too, and it didn't, so the second day I used a full "pea" size. The directions are not terribly specific about precise amounts, so you have to use your own discretion. I would start slow like me, because I know some women are sensitive to even smaller amounts than this. I know with Retinol in general, you can expect some redness at first, but I did not have that problem. I didn't really notice any improvement in the deeper line or fine lines around the corner of my mouth for about eight days and was about to give up. However, in the last three days, I have noticed some great improvement in the fine lines -- they're starting to disappear! This cream doesn't promise to get rid of the deep lines, so I didn't expect that anyway. So I'm encouraged greatly that the fine lines are almost disappearing, and I'm going to keep it up now... Maybe there is some sort of build-up that has to occur. Who knows? All I know is that the husband noticed, and he's almost blind and didn't know I had started using it, so that's proof enough for me!
This product is for Retinol-Sensitive skin. I have used products in the past that were too drying and produced small bumps on the side of my face. I have not had that problem with the ROC night cream at all. There are warnings on the packaging that I may experience mild tingling or redness, but I had none of those side effects. There are instructions to begin use every other day if you have never used retinol products, but I have used retinol for a long time so I started using the ROC cream every night with no ill effects. This product is purported to “visibly improve lines and wrinkles in 8 weeks.” I have only been using it for a little over 2 weeks, and I haven't seen a difference yet. I hope it works well because the cream does not feel as harsh as other retinol products, and as I said before, it does not cause skin bumps. My face does feel smoother, and I don't have any dry spots that I sometimes get in the winter, so I plan to keep using the ROC night cream.
I used this cream as directed for over a week. I did not notice any real difference in my skin. Directions were clear and it was easy to use. I do have sensitive skin, so I was most interested in whether it would irritate my skin. First, the smell of the cream is very nice and light. Application was easy and very little cream was needed to cover areas being tested. I used the cream on my face, back of my hands and neck. Next, my skin felt soft when first applied, but not extremely long lasting. I still had wrinkling and skin felt rougher. My opinion is this cream is not strong enough to live up to what was said about it. Or, I may need stronger creams. I used the cream for over a week to give it a good try. Maybe more time is needed to get the results advertised. Pic of hand will show how wrinkles were affected very little in over a week of use. I observed no sensitivity at all. It is a nice cream, but not strong enough for older skin /aging problems. I will finish the tube and if I see results at that time I revise my opinion.
I decided to try the ROC Retinol Correxion Sensitive Night Cream to see if it would improve wrinkles that have appeared much to my dismay in recent years. I have never used a retinol product before, mainly because I was always worried about going out in the sun and forgetting to put on high SPF protection as I'm not always diligent about that. But since its winter now and I'm basically stuck in the house for a few months I thought I'd give it a go. The first couple of times I used it did sting and cause redness (on the box it states those who have never used should ease into it every other day, which I've done.) but that improved after the 3rd use. However, it was very drying on my face, so I couldn't use it alone. I have continued to use under my regular moisturizer at night, but I will not be able to continue to use for 8 weeks or more (the time stated that 95% of women saw improvement) as in winter with house heating my skin is dry to begin with and the retinol just adds to that problem, even with slathering on other moisturizers over it. Perhaps for others, that don't have the drying effect, it might be great with continued use, but it just didn't work out for me.
