Great bicycle

I'm 59 years old and I love my bicycle. I have ridden it for 10 miles round trip and it handled great. I would tell anyone to get this bike. I'm haveing alot of fun ridding. I can't find anything wrong with this bicycle except for the seat. For me, the seat had to be replaced with another one. I don't have much to sit down on and the seat that comes on the bike is not comfortable. Overall, buy this bike if you want a great ride.

Love everything about this bike...Color, quality and ride. Assembled rather easily, however took about three hours. Brakes and gears needed adjusting but run quite smoothly now. Overall a great ride and very comfortable. Quality appears to be very good and one would think it cost much more than it really did! The only thing that is a slight negative is that the size is larger than I expected. The tires are 28", and I did not read this anywhere in the description. I purchased it assuming it was a 26". However, I am 5'3" and it still works. I just had to remove the spring out of the seat adjusting rod to lower it a little more than it allowed with the spring. It is still very comfortable.

Great bike for the price

I am happy that I purchased this bike. I was looking for a bike that was easy to ride, had a few gears and that was made with quality materials and construction. This bike is light weight because of the aluminum frame but still includes many extras, like the fenders and cargo rack. I do wish it had a chain guard though. One other draw back is that the owner's manual that it comes with is too general and does not include instructions for bikes with internal deraillers. I also did not relize that the bike had skinnier tires than what a mountain bike would have had. Although after having riden the bike for a couple weeks now, I feel like the street tires make this bike easier to ride around town. I have also towed my daughter in a trailer many times. Having the gears really helped. I did have a little trouble hooking the gears up when I assembled the bike. Once I tightened and then loosened the tension on the little chain (and after a couple test rides) the gears work fine. This bike has the capability of being quick and also is comfortable enough to just tool around the neighborhood. Great buy.

Good quality and worthy of the Schwinn name at no where near the price you would pay at other retailer for Schwinn. assembly took about 1/2 hour by a moderately mechanically inept assembler. Instructions were not really all that helpful but 12 year old rider of the product provided valuable insight and mission was accomplished! :)

Nice bike, but it's for the tall gals

I purchased this bike online and had to return it to the store because it was way too big for me. The suspension seat adds about four more inches also because you can't push it all the way down into the hole. I went as far as buying another seat post (plus a more comfortable seat) and was able to ride it but it still did not feel as safe as I would have liked, so I reluctantly returned it. I am 5" 3", if your maybe 5'6" and taller this could be the bike for you. I really liked the way it looked and handled but it just didn't work out for me. I ended up with the Schwinn point beach cruiser instead, not quite as cool looking as this one but it fits me and I'm more comfortable riding it. One other thing you might want to know, the tires are 28" on this bike, which didn't help either.

Nice bike, rides smooth. Good quality for the price! But only one remark. You can not lift the stem. So if you want to have the steer higher than with the small adjusttool of it, it's not possible. My wife is 6". We couldn't adjust the bike enough for her. We sold the bike already again.

I bought this bike for my wife. It was easy to assemble. Even brake-pads were pre-aligned and needed no extra effort. The bike itself is well equipped for the price, but ironically lucks screw holes for the bottle holder frame. After first 50 miles it runs smoothly and appears to be reliable. My wife's the only complain the bike for her could be a little bit more compact and lightweight. She is 5'4”. Very good bike overall. Would recommend it.

THE BIKE ITSELF IS MARVELOUS. I PURCHASED IT FOR A FRIEND, BUT THERE IS NO MOUNTING SCREWS ON THE FRAME FOR A WATER BOTTLE. THE REAR RACK HAS A MOUNT FOR AN AIR PUMP, BUT I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND THE ONE THAT WOULD FIT AT WALMART. I FOUND THAT STRANGE.

I liked my bike, so I bought one for my wife. The frame and wheels are excellent. It seems like a very high quality bike for the money. However, the components (brakes and gear shifter) are not the highest of quality. But, remember that $225 for a bike of descent quality is still a good deal.

I bought this bicycle to run errands. Comfort, fenders and a rack where very important when I shopping for the right bike. It is very comfortable and I love it. *** It's fairly easy to make minor adjustments as long as you don't rely on the manual for DETAILED direction. I needed to adjust the handle bars, so I looked it up in the manual and found reference to a totally different handle bar system. I accidentally found the correct screw to make the much needed adjustment, after several INTENSE minutes. (HINT: The screw is on the front of the handle bar stem. After reviewing the manual even further, I'm glad I asked Walmart to put it together.) The upside is that I've become more acquainted with our neighbor, whose a bicycle enthusiast with a lot of great pointers. *** It was easy to add my panniers, but I'm still trying to figure out how mount a water bottle cage on the bike. The bicycle is not setup for a stand cage mount. I've yet to investigate how easy it will be to mount lights on the bike.
