I have never purchased a “bed in a box” before so I wasn't sure what to expect. The box itself while big, was not heavy. It was very easy to get the bed out and unroll it on the floor. The bed came in plastic as if it was shrink wrap. Per the directions, I cut open the plastic and watched the bed inflate before my eyes. I didn't notice any weird or chemical smells. I let the bed completely inflate for a few hours before my husband and I moved it onto the guest bed. Once ready, it was very easy to put on standard size queen sheets. The bed itself is soft yet firm. When you first go to lay down it appears firm, however; once you get cozy, your body sinks into the mattress. This sweet spot is oh so perfect and cradles your body and joints perfectly. I took a nap and when I woke up I felt so well rested and my back didn't hurt as much as it normally does. My son asked if he could camp out in the living room so we pulled the mattress back out on the floor and we had a popcorn movie night. Not only was it really comfortable to lay down and relax while watching a movie, but our son said it was the best nights sleep ever! He has a memory foam bed currently and he said this one isn't hot like the one in his room. Needless to say, I will be buying one in a full size for him for Christmas because it's such a great value for the price!
This Simmons 8 Memory Foam Medium Queen Mattress is amazing. I have never had a bed like this so I didn't know what to expect when it first arrived. The box that it came in was big and I thought that I would have a hard time getting it set up but I was wrong. The mattress is wrapped up very well and once you are able to get the plastic off it starts to turn into a bed right away. No waiting hours before you can try it out. It's very light as well and easy to move. I set the whole thing up by myself and I know I wouldn't have a problem moving it if I have to. It comes with a zipped up cover to protect the mattress and it's removable so you can wash it. Once you lay down on this mattress you melt right into it and it has this softness to it but still supports you. The first couple of nights sleeping on it I woke up with my back kinda sore but that always seems to happen when you change what you are sleeping on. Now that I'm used to it I sleep very well. The mattress is supposed to keep you cool but I have not been able to tell as I sleep with a fan on. When it comes to sheets they fit very well, if you have deep pocket sheets then just tuck them in more and it will work just fine. When it comes to having another person in the bed with you, you don't feel them moving around at all and that's a plus. This is by far the best bed I've had and I would most definitely recommend this to anyone that likes to sleep.
The Simmons 8 inch memory foam mattress is great! This mattress replaced a thousand dollar mattress bought from Sleep Outfitters only three years ago. This mattress is so much better than the more expensive one. First, this mattress is the real queen size it fits a queen bedroom frame perfectly without any gaps. Also this mattress is really soft , perfect for people who need a lot more cushion when they sleep. It was very easy to set up after removing it from the box. It started inflating the minute the plastic was taken off. It does have a faint smell that disappeared after a few days out of the box. Overall, this is a great mattress for people who like really soft cushioned beds and I like it a lot.

I have received the Simmons queen size mattress with gel memory foam. This is an eight inch queen size mattress which offers a lot of support. This was so easy to set up. First of all when you receive your mattress in a box you just need to lay it on your foundation and then cut open the bag and allow it time to inflate. I let mine sit out for 48 hours before laying on it. Since this has the gel foam it keeps your body cool when you are laying on it. The memory foam is soft, however it supports your body without any sagging. I really love the fact that there is a built in motion support, so when there are two people in the bed you don't feel them moving around. If you are someone that needs to get optimal back support look no further. My husband is someone who prefers a firmer mattress where I prefer it to be soft. This mattress covers both of our needs without either one of us having to sacrifice comfort. Overall this is a great quality mattress. I highly recommend this mattress if you are looking to get a good night's sleep. This mattress is so comfortable.
This mattress makes me feel like I'm sleeping on clouds. It's super soft and light. The plushness along with the memory foam makes for a great nights sleep. Because it's memory foam, my husband doesn't feel me get up in the mornings, so he can sleep a little longer.
This is a very nice, high quality mattress It's nice and thick. The thickness is comparable to a regular mattress, but it's made out of memory foam. Memory foam has been around for a long time, but I never really got into it. Memory foam mattresses were very expensive when it they first came out, so I didn't really bother even trying it. I got a memory foam pillow recently, and that kind of opened by eyes to memory foam mattresses. You sink in, and the memory foam molds to your shape. You don't have pressure points like when you are laying on a normal mattress. It almost feels like you are floating. It's incredibly comfortable. It is a little harder to get out of in the morning, not only because it's so comfortable, I mean that it takes a little more physical effort. If you have trouble getting out of a normal bed, I don't recommend getting a memory foam mattress unless you have somebody that can help you. Very comfortable, and very good quality
This is a great mattress. It is extremely comfortable and it's very easy to set up. I love that you can get a great mattress without going to a store and having it delivered!! It is a cool gel memory foam so I sleep comfortable all night, no sweating, just nice cozy sleep. I love my new mattress.
First and foremost, I couldn't believe when this mattress came in a box. I was shocked to open it and realize an entire mattress fit inside. When I opened it, it was air sealed in a package. After opening the packs it (fairly simple but a heavy product) the mattress expanded to its normal size. Amazing! It's sooo soft and comfy. It's too big for my bed frame (a full) but I plan on buying a queen to fit this mattress. So far, no complaints. If you need a firm mattress this isn't the mattress for you. Also, if you had to return this mattres I would imagine that getting it back in the box would be difficult.
This mattress fits the bill. It is so comfortable. The mattress itself has a great balance. It isn't as hard as a rock and not as soft as some memory foams. Usually I am very picky with what I sleep on so I was skeptical at first. I have slept great every night since I got it. Definitely would recommend to others.
