This product changed my life. I have thin eyebrows and have struggled for almost 4 years trying to find a product that would give me the brows I wanted. The formula is waterproof (like actually get your face wet, its staying on) which is perfect being at the pool, in the gym, etc. I am able to do my brows so fast with this product, application is easy and beautiful!! This pencil gives me realistic looking thicker brows! The price is unbeatable getting a product that the color is beautiful (I use the deepest brown color), its waterproof, and very little of the pencil is needed to complete a day to day look. Incredible, probably the best make up product I have ever used. I am so impressed and love smashbox!! Get this pencil you will NOT regret it!!!
This matte eyebrow pencil really works for me. I have pretty thin eyebrows to begin with so I needed a pencil that would be able to fill it in without making it look too dark or too heavy. And this product works perfectly. After I fill in my eyebrows, I brush them through with the little brush on the end and then I put a clear gel over it to keep my brows in place. The eyebrow pencil color is pretty true to my hair color, although now that I've dyed my hair with a little more auburn, the color is a bit off. But that's not the products fault, I just need to buy another eyebrow pencil that is a little closer in color to my hair color now.
I was using a powder brow product from smashbox that i was happy with but i wanted more control. I decided to try this product and have been super happy. Highly recommend, only wish they gave you more in one stick.
Ive been buying this product for years and I swear by it. Perfect shade of brown (I found most to be a bit reddish but not this) and lasts all day long!
I love the product itself but the packaging is not well constructed. The end with the brush came apart within a month of purchase and would not go back on.
I bought this brow pencil in taupe. I love the color since I was hesitant to try it. However, the pencil was a different story. Every time I'd advance the product a chunk of it would fall in my lap. I have more product in my lap than on my brows.
I ventured off from my usual eyebrow pencil, thinking that since I love all of my other Smashbox products, I would love this too. Unfortunately, I hated this product. The pencil itself was so brittle I ended up loosing most of it to breakage- I attempted at keeping it turned down as short as possible to avoid the breakage, but that proved difficult to use. It did draw on nicely when it wasn't crumbly. I will not buy this again :(
I have previously used the Brow Tech to go and decided to give this new finer pencil a try. Whilst I love the product and the colour is perfect for me because I have finer brows, I am disappointed with the performance. The first one was replaced for me because even if you wind it up the tiniest amount it just kept breaking. The replacement did not break at all and I was really happy with it, but it lasted all of 3 weeks. I would love to continue using this product but it just seems poor value for money. I use it very lightly to fill in the gaps each day and would expect it to last longer than that.
I really loved the last brow version with the slanted tip, it was easier to draw in my brows. This smaller tip leaves too much to error.
Worst product for the price I have every come across. Have previously bought matt pencil to go at £20 an excellent product. This new one is rubbish. First one arrive with no lead. Replacement arrived and was so hard to twist up that when it eventually did, lead broke off and so I have lost half of it before even using it. Complete waste of money. The old version is still available but does not show up on the web site. Can't understand why!!!!!!
