If you seek REAL Crab taste in Middle America, these ARE the best. Cake size SEEMS Small at first, but thaw and flatten the "portions" to cake form works best. Made with noticeable amounts of Lump and Semi-lump meat. PAN SAUTÉ OR MICRO WITH A TAB OF BUTTER PER PATTY. 890 Miles from a fresh ocean, and tired of IMITATION "KRAB", these CRAB CAKES are the BEST AVAILABLE to the Mid West ! !
Amazing flavor and texture!
A bit pricey but I enjoyed its really good I like the you can add to eggs or anything you want to.
Quick to cook from freezer to table. Very good flavor too and I have lived in southern Louisiana all my life. I eat 2 at a time. I also bought them for my 86 year old mother and she likes them too.
I cannot believe how good these crabcakes are. They are better than most restaurants! Hardly any filler and it easy to prepare. The price is cheap for lump crabcakes. I even delivered some to my mom and she's raving about them. I went to the Walmart in Vineland, NJ and I picked them up hoping I wouldn't be disappointed and I wasn't. I went out the very next day to my local Walmart planning to buy three boxes to go with my spaghetti and I was disappointed that the Walmart on McDade in glenolden, Pa didn't sell them. Anyway, I'm hooked if I'm trying to buy them online. This is a must-buy for seafood lovers.
Very happy with these crab cakes for the price! Not as good as the crab cakes we make from our own local crabs, but great at less than $2 each. Just as good as the $28 crab cakes (2) I just had in a local restaurant this week. If you have some old bay, Texas Pete, crackers, and a cold beer, enjoy these and save some money.
I been searching for good crab cakes in mid-west, I was reading reviews on this and took a chance. We absolutely enjoyed it, I would buy again, just wish it was little bigger for price paid. 5 thumbs
Made these as part of Fathers Day breakfast, and I even lied I made them from scratch. They are that good.
Yummy! I had to cook them a lot longer than recommended in the oven. At one point, I considered taking it out and finishing on the stove. Unfortunately , the cakes are fragile and break apart easily . Also, the cakes are small. It would be better to have four medium size crab cake as opposed to the 8 small cakes.
I was very skeptical when I bought these crab cakes. I'm a really picky eater. I had never prepared crab cakes at home. I always get them at seafood restaurants. You're suppose to brush butter on them, and stick them in the oven (frozen) for approx 15-18 min. I brushed Land O lakes Saute Express Garlic and Herb on top instead. They had the most wonderful flavor! I'm pleasantly surprised w/ these! They are extremely meaty. SweetNavy was full of it on their review. The only reason they did not get 5 stars is because I found little pieces of shell from time to time.
