I have a 5 year old and an 8 year old when I showed them that I got this they were super excited and they jumped up-and-down. They love that comes with magnetic letters and numbers and a chalkboard on the other side. It is an absolute great investment for children that are learning their ABC's and how to add and subtract or just for doodling purposes also. A++
My child really enjoys playing with this board and at the same time works his fine motor skills, hand eye coordination and letter recognition! This is a double sided board one side white board and the other chalk. Comes with magnetic letters, numbers and symbols, 4 chalks, dry erase marker…. It's super easy to clean just with a wet cloth/wipe. I love that I can hang it and my son will have hours of play time. The size is perfect and does not take lots of space, the letters, numbers and symbols are a nice size and thick so kids won't damage them really easy. I have even use the numbers and symbols to practice multiplication and division with my oldest son. I love it!
This whiteboard/chalkboard combo is honestly one of the best items I've purchased in awhile. It's the perfect size not too big or small. Honestly, it looks and the quality is exactly like something that would come from the Melissa %26 Doug brand but it's half the price (if not more) of what M%26D would charge. I'm so pleased I'm considering purchasing more for gifts. My only issue would be that the numbers and letters don't have any kind of case to keep them in so they don't get lost- a ziplock bag will have to do until I find something better. Be prepared to also purchase additional colors of dry erase markers because my boys are already requesting more. They love their boards so much and we have been using them daily. I love that they can be hung up and moved to different areas of the house if need be. I 100% recommend these over any other dry erase chalkboard combo on the market right now. You will be pleasantly surprised and not regret it.
My daughter loves this learning board. She is 4.5 years old and doesn't use the magnetic letters and numbers much but will write with the chalk and markers on the correct sides. For my son, who is 3, I use the magnetic letters to help him with recognition. The magnets are strong and do not slip down the board. However, the chalk is very thin and for their toddler hands they pushed too hard and broke each piece easily. Overall, they both love it but the erasers do not get close to the sides to clean it well.
We really love this board, my daughter is 3 learning her numbers and abcs, this is absolutely perfect for that! She is able to not only use the magnets for that but she can use dry erase , and chalk! It's good for all ages as my son who is 8 was using this to practice his addition and subtraction too. It's such a great idea to utilize to keep your kids learning and having fun.
My son and I love this Double Sided Learning Board by Spark!! It was very easy to get it open and ready for my son to play with. I tore a small hole in the plastic wrap covering the board and it easily opened. There was no sticky tape and there were no twist ties to deal with. This set includes all the letters of the alphabet and all numbers 0-9, as well as + , -, x and =. They are all magnetic and easily stick to the dry erase side of the board without sliding around. Also included in this set is an eraser that is also magnetic, it will work on both the chalk board side and can be used for the dry erase side as well. The included dry erase marker is also magnetic and has a tiny eraser on the cap. I love that everything in this set aside from the included chalk is magnetic. When play time is over, it's super easy to stick everything to the board to minimize mess and clutter. My son loves playing with this board. We are using it to help him learn to identify letters and numbers. It is great for helping him pick up and move small things, improving his fine motor skills. I think it will be wonderful to have as he grown and continues to learn. We can use the magnetic letters to make small words and learn about basic math skills. The bright colors and fun design help keep his attention for lots of play and learning! I recommend this to anyone with a young child!
This is a very fun and colorful learning board. My 4 year old son opened up the package plastic and right away started putting his letters in order. This board is double sided for chalk and marker. It came with one marker, an eraser, 4 pieces of chalk, and letters and numbers magnets. I will be using this board as we homeschool and it will come in handy in teaching little pieces of information. Great buy and highly recommended.
This is a great little introductory learning tool for my 3 year old. She enjoys placing the letters and numbers all over the board, even though she cannot spell or do math yet. I like that she is getting familiar with letters and numbers, so when the time comes, we can begin to use this tool for spelling. The numbers and letters are a great size; not too big that she can't maneuver them, and not too small that they get misplaced. The magnets are strong and the numbers and letters do not fall from the board. It comes with a dry erase marker, but we haven't ventured that far yet. The other side of it is a chalk board. This is great for indoor winter play, when we can't get outside to play with chalk on the pavement. She thoroughly enjoys this toy, and we plan to get several years use out of it!
This board is a fun addition to our homeschool learning. So far we've used it with my kindergartner to review letters, numbers, and just have fun drawing. I like that it's small enough for my 6 year old to write on as we go over lessons at our table, but large enough that she doesn't run out of space when writing or drawing multiple items. The mini eraser is also a nice touch, and you can't go wrong with this price! Overall, would recommend as a decent sized compact chalk/dry erase board.
The idea of this double sided learning board was good but not perfect. I found it to be a little heavy for a 3 year old to walk around with. They should have included a pouch to store the accessories when not in use. The rope handle allows for hanging with the option to flip sides.
