My kiddos take medication that interferes with their sleep patterns sometimes. This is a low dose that helps them stay on schedule on those nights it is a bit difficult.
when I'm fishing around for a melatonin in the middle of the night I definitely don't want to have to get up to grab a glass of water so the fast dissolve option is wonderful. 3 mg is just enough to get me back to sleep and not feel groggy in the morning.
I bought the 3mg because I was using 5mg and these aren't supposed to be used long term. They taste good, makes my mouth water a little so they dissolve well under my tongue. Melatonin has helped me change my night shift schedule to day shift. I had to start taking them at a consistent TIME (early) every night... about an hour before a scheduled sleep time. I didn't think it was possible, but it finally worked.
Just one pill and my mom slept all night. This is not for every day use because your body builds a tolerance for it. But a couple of times a week it works.
Melatonin by Spring Valley is larger than expected and the flavor is a bit strong for my bedtime. After that 10 second of complaint, it's a great supplement that gets me down for the sleeping count
I can't tell you how many brands I tried before I finally found Spring Valley! I had even tried 10mg of other brands and didn't get as much help as I do with one or two of the fast dissolve 3mg SV.
What I love about this one, is the option of a very low dosage. I do not take Melatonin all the time, just once in a while when l am in a place where I know my sleep will be challenged. i don't feel the over grog with this because of the very low dose. I feel that this is the safest bet to other options.
I've been using this brand and dose of Melatonin for years. It works very well when you need it. I've noticed a little bit of daytime grogginess but it's tolerable. The dissolving tablets are great if you don't have a drink nearby; this makes it convenient to keep them in your nightstand. The taste is okay.
I use this for my 5 year old daughter when she struggles to settle for the night. I dont ever use the whole pill. I cut it into 4ths. The gummies tend to be too much for her. This allows me to control the amount of melatonin she gets better.
They resolve, I hate the taste, pills you pop in %26 take water No Taste. If I can't find the 3mg I just take 3 of the 1 mg.
